Here I want to share all the information I have, answer questions I hear, show tutorials and make whip making and cracking fun easy and convenient for everyone
i enjoyed using a tapered fall on my first. thank you very much for that. i would like help with how to use a longer rod in the handle to approximate hybrid performance. i used 15" fiberglass in place of 12" following Adam's "bare bones" whip, but i also extended the belly and the adds, winding up with a 9 ft. now i hope to build a sensible 7 ft. how does a 16" rod sound? thanks for the encouragement, teaching, and kindness.

16" handle would be long for a bull whip but you can use the same general formula for any size whip

Alway had an idea how this type of handle is done, now I at least know your method. Would like to know the thought behind why you still do the bellies as though you were still using the whole length of the platting (on the handle portion) only to cut a large section out. Hope you post more on this channel. BTW, I like bacon too, but puzzled why 'Cracking my newly made whip' did not make the list on your T shirt. Thanks for sharing.

Have you ever tried winding the sinew on a stick? It allows you to pull on it to the point of breaking, which is hard to do with the cardboard spool. I have been using this method for years and I can make bindings as tight as the sinew will allow.
@eliasonwhipco3 ай бұрын
I haven't tried that but ill guce it a shot. I have a dowl that I put in the cardboard tube so it won't collapse

Why did you divide by 5 on the overlay?
@eliasonwhipco5 ай бұрын
Adding or dropping in doubles it gives an even space between all the drops. Just how I've gotten the math to work out

What makes the cracker not usable. Like why do we have to replace them? Do they just rip and tear? I had no idea that the cracker is just thread. I had the misconception that what cracks is the steel balls or beads.
@eliasonwhipco Жыл бұрын
The cracker is the part of the whip that sees the most abuice going super sonic over and over again. It also hits the ground and can get tide up in knots so its good to replace them every once in a wile. I'm planning on shooting a video on what a cracker looks like that needs to be replaced

@bryantreacher57932 жыл бұрын
Ok.but I do not like the way you finished the knot you should have gone through the middle of the knot so the end come out through the the other side ,the reason for this is the way you tied this Turks head is like a foot rope knot and if you were to turn it end for end you would make a diamond knot.
