I’m a beginner knitter, and this was the first time tinking was crystal clear. I saw exactly where to insert the left needle and how the yarn in front or back told me what stitch was next. You are THE BEST, with clear instructions and visuals (cute yarn color was a plus I might add!) Thank you, thank you!❤

I find it looser than binding-off knitwise so it may give you the stretch you need. You can also look into “Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off” - I don’t have a video on that but others do and it is very stretchy. Hope that helps!

You'll weave in your tails at the end. My preferred method of weaving in ends is using the duplicate stitch technique. Here's a tutorial on my website about it! elizabethsmithknits.com/2020/12/09/duplicate-stitch-for-weaving-in-ends/

Not only did I learn that it IS Possible to lengthen an already fully knit piece, but ALSO learned about TINKING. I am subscribing to your channel. I CANNOT WAIT to see how much I can learn from you about knitting, but also, I can't wait to try and lengthen the sweater vest that I made my sister for Christmas (that was just a little short). I have had it here since Christmas, wondering if I had to reknit the WHOLE THING...but apparently NOT! Her Birthday is in a few days.... I am going to see if I can try this method, and surprise her by giving it back to her....LENGTHENED. 😊❤😊

When you work stockinette stitch in the round you knit every round. Hope that helps!
@bookhuggah2 ай бұрын
Is this similar to the ssk, it is looking like it, except the second stitch is not entered the same direction as with ssk. But the end result looks like it is the same as the other way. Swatching time!! I typically do a little bit of setting up for any twists in the row or round below the actual one with the decreases by wrapping those stitches in the opposite way from typical for western mounted stitches to make them look backwards on purpose for how I was taught (western style and throwing, though I am more comfortable with continental stitches now, and combination for lace or decreases in general).
