How to bind-off in the middle of your work

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video I walk you through how to bind-off in the middle of your work. You'll often be instructed to do this when knitting sweaters - either at an underarm, for a back neck or as part of neck shaping.

Thank you for this! I’m working on my first pair of fingerless mitts and had no idea how to bind off just the thumb and still be able to continue working the rest of the mitt going towards the fingers. I’ve searched soooo many places trying to find a tutorial but most were on dpns which didn’t help me lol this is greatly appreciated! It’s hard trying to teach yourself to knit as you go🤣I’ve never been one to ho step by step. I just find a project I like and dive in feet first and when I get to something I don’t understand, I either Google it or jump on YT lol probably not the smartest idea🙃

Thank you for a well-done video. My question is: have you ever tried continental and, if you have, how did you like it? Again, thank you for an excellent instructions.

You're very welcome! I have tried continental in the past but never practiced it for long enough to get super comfortable with it so the English method has always been my preference. But I know many people who love knitting continental.
