Luckily nobody gives a crap about what you think. Accidents happen buddy. Stop being a conspiracy theorist. He was a good man and a good friend. Your speculation of this not being an accident is in bad taste and is disrespectful to an entire team that really looked up to him. We missed him then, we miss him today.

I’m sorry you feel that way. We ‘Insiders’ didn’t get to choose our parents. And you preferring a chat with ‘a complete outsider’ is a little hurtful. Because both me and Hansal Sir have busted our butts to get to where we are today. Nothing we have right now in life came from privilege. It came from hunger, humility, struggle and passion.

Addressing the issue of delayed payments in the television industry requires a multifaceted approach. Here are some potential solutions: 1. **Contractual Agreements**: - Artists should negotiate clear payment terms in their contracts, stipulating specific deadlines for payment post-completion of work. - Include penalty clauses for delayed payments to incentivize timely disbursements. 2. **Industry Standards**: - Establish industry-wide standards for payment schedules. Associations representing actors and other stakeholders can collaborate to enforce these standards. - Regular audits and compliance checks by industry bodies to ensure adherence to these standards. 3. **Regulatory Intervention**: - Government or industry regulatory bodies can introduce policies mandating timely payments to artists and other freelance workers. - Introduce a grievance redressal mechanism where artists can report delayed payments and seek timely resolutions. 4. **Legal Recourse**: - Artists should be aware of their legal rights and have access to legal support to pursue delayed payments through small claims courts or other legal avenues if necessary. - Form alliances with legal professionals who can offer pro bono or affordable services to struggling artists. 5. **Financial Assistance Programs**: - Establishment of funds or financial assistance programs by industry associations to support artists facing financial difficulties due to delayed payments. - Production houses could contribute to these funds as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. 6. **Collective Bargaining**: - Strengthening unions and artists' associations to have a stronger collective bargaining power. - Use collective bargaining to negotiate better payment terms and conditions with production houses and channels. 7. **Public Awareness and Advocacy**: - Raise public awareness about the plight of character artists through media campaigns and social media. - Garner public support to put pressure on production houses and networks to change their payment practices. 8. **Proactive Production House Policies**: - Production houses should adopt best practices for financial management to ensure artists are paid on time. - Implement transparent and efficient payment processing systems. Implementing these solutions requires collaboration among artists, production houses, industry associations, and regulatory bodies. By working together, the industry can create a fairer and more sustainable environment for all its workers.

Is the Casting Directors the new cartel through which aspirant actors HAVE to go through, to get to be considered by the Production Houses/Independent filmmakers? One can understand, that in the highly stressful logistics of film making, a production house or director cannot have the time to sift through thousands of eager actor aspirants, but the discerning eye of Producers/Directors may see what they need, rather than a 'sub vendor'...
