Thanks for this. I have a BX23S. For anyone else viewing this and thinking it might be the same, it it is not. For it, there are screws that hold the instrument panel in place. Take off the front cover as much as you can to get to them.

The Trim adjustment works just fine but you have to allow the stove to totally power down and then restart before any trim change takes effect. It works.

Thank you so much for showing how to pry the dash panel out. I had no idea on how to get it out. Mine had too much corrosion so cleaning it didn’t help so I had to toss it and buy a new one. I went to the dealer where a I bought the tractor 10 years ago (BX 1870) and they wanted $645.00 for the part. (Kitsap Tractor & Equipment in Silverdale WA) He tried to make it sound like they weren’t making them any more and he found one of the last ones in a warehouse in Kansas. After more research a local mechanic directed me to Scholten’s Equipment in Lynden WA and their price was about $480 with shipping and it arrived in 4 days. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video. It was an easy project thanks to you.

Cool I’m glad I could help. Yeah, I kind of figured them things would be a little bit of money. They should really fix that problem because I’ve seen a lot of people had the same problem with moisture getting in there. Oh well have a good day my friend.

This is my second pellet stove. First one of this kind. My old one I could open the hopper Whenever I wanted to fill or check level. This model tho has that sensor. Can I still open my hopper while it running to check the level? I’ve spent HOuRs online trying to find an answer for this silly question 😢
@stefanieramirez76956 ай бұрын
Yes you can open while it's running. It just won't feed, but you can definitely open and add more pellets if needed. Then close it back up and it'll start feeding again!

I couldn't agree with you MORE!! I had purchased one from Harbor freight and they provided a small container of grease. I simply grabbed my smaller grease gun and made sure my tool was well lubricated. Also the inhouse warranty is amazing...just bring it in...no questions!!

I’ve had the exact same experience. I have the Tractor supply model. I’ve also landed on -2 trim setting. I also find it needs to be cleaned2x per day. You can stretch to 1x per day, but the flame at the end gets very lazy, and it’s harder to clean the pot after a full day. My exhaust system is totally clean, and i have the outside air kit installed, so I’m optimized there. Otherwise, we’re very happy with this stove after 3 years, however we are only burning a few weekends/long weekends a year, not running it full time.
