You seem to have the camera and lens pointing to the side. Other videos show it with the lens pointing down. I've tried it and the latter feels more balanced and secure pointing down and works with longer lenses/hoods. Chest strap a good idea. Also works better with the smaller Sony mirrorless bodies without grip. Canon and Nikon often have much bigger bulkier bodies.

If the cable came from Rode, I expect it to be appropriate. A normal TRRS cable can be problematic because it doesn't have shielding. This means that many different factors can mess up your sound. Many years ago I used an unshielded cable while setting up to broadcast Sir Edmond Hillary's presentation through the school and I was picking up radio signals from overhead commercial air traffic.

Very old vid, but for those coming here by chance, the main reason why it wobbles, is his a rucksack doers not have a chest strap. Having a chest strap clipped in 90% of the wobble will disappear 😊

The official rode cable does solve the problem IN ADDITION to a firmware update via their Rode Connect software. Mine now works with iOS and mac. I will proceed to test this with my mirrorless camera.

You pay up for sunglasses for a few reasons.. 1. Its your eye. don't compromise on the lens. 2. When you pay up you'll notice the frame is slightly heavier and your glasses sit right on your face 3. The lens won't scratch so easily 4. You should always wear shades to minimize crows feet under your eyes from squinting from sun. Also, most surely get a band (from REI) so you wont leave these shades in restaurants etc.. 5. Since you pay up, you'll take pride in taking care of them and keeping them clean etc and you wont lose them. also, you can see the exact model of your ray bans in very fine print on the stems. take a pic with your cell phone and its easier to read. once you get that information, its easier to shop online because you already have your perfect size etc

Not sure if the lower end models are worth the investment...at that price, I can buy three to four pieces of other mid range brands. I heard sometimes the batches get mixed over from private sellers. Try ordering one and authenticating them. Worst case scenario, you can always return them. The ones I got were authentic.

PSA: Never apply cleaning spray directly to screens. You're supposed to moisten the cloth used. You're asking for problems if that liquid gets inside
