Remember if an Australian animal is not killing you, its not because it doesnt want to, its just currently incapable.

That first video is from a breeding operation. They bromate the turtles that way. Then they dig them up and the turtles will start to breed. That is how most reptiles are.

You first listed 99.9% overpopulated nuisance animals and 75% of those were dangerous. It’s almost as if they weren’t meant to live like that…… so that begs to question, are we?

We had pond turtles when we were children. But they somehow got lost. We also had a coffee table with sunken planters around it. Once when I was watering the houseplants, the soil began to shift and surge. The turtles, missing for months, surfaced from the planters.

I worked in Parks Canada. And I can agree, a fed bear is a dead bear. I had to deal with the time a bear used to looking for food at campsites ended injuring someone when it ripped into their tent.

Genetic manipulation. Seeing as octopus are intelligent and we eat them . we have already hunted whales and almost eradicated Gorillas with some many influential people like Klaus form WEF,George Soros and son,Bill Gates and many more raising the alarm about over population why not go back to cannibalism? Solve two problems at once over crowding & hunger ,hell maybe global warming as well since human farts don't contain the methane😃

I raise isopods and I have heard of wolbachia before. If I am not mistaken it will turn a male isopod into a female instead. Also a large number of insect species are infected( like 25%-just a guess). My concern is will this harm reproduction. I believe wolbachia is inherited through the maternal line and passed down. If more insects are infected through this process. I am not entirely sure of the ramifications wolbachia has on other species though since terrestrial isopods are crustaceans and not insects. Correct me if I am wrong, but wolbachia can only be transmitted by females and could potentially harm reproduction by turning males into females. We need insects due to the whole food chain and all. You knock out one area of the food chain and the others suffer. Not to mention all the other benefits insects provide.

imsorrywhat why are they euthanizing the animals being fed instead of holding people accountable for their actions ?? it makes no sense at all. i know animals can get used to humans, but just relocate the creatures, or put up more signs enforcing the "no feeding animals"

i think some of this comes from a misunderstanding of what zookeepers/sanctuary workers do. or really anyone who works with animals as a profession. i've heard some people say that if money were no object, they would love to work with animals not realizing that zookeepers do more than pet animals all day. it takes extensive amounts of education and training to be able to have the privileges of that job with shit pay. there's a lot of work that goes into walking the very fine line between respecting them vs coddling/abusing them. it takes time as well because that's a part of research - looking at patterns over a length of time. once you really know what zookeepers do, i think a lot of people would opt out of being around wild animals every day.

Wtf we don’t eat turtles in East Asia (Korea, Japan). It must be in the jungle in South Asia and the Pacific Islands, such as Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

"When the dinosaurs were gone, birds appeared" hm. One, birds are dinosaurs. Two, avian dinosaurs (aka birds) coexisted with dinosaurs. Archaeopteryx is a great example, but is far from the only one. Modern birds just happened to outlive dinosaurs/survive the extinction.
