So April is a good month?
@TheHobbyBird5 ай бұрын
It can be. On the coast like this, it’s the weather that really decides whether you see them or not. The months with lots of storms make it challenging. The weather tends to be more stable in April.

Hello We reaching Bodo in march and thinking to catch ferry to moskenes, are ferries running that time of the month? And is it feasible to reach lofoten during march 1st week?

Love your work and I like just watching your process. One could put down your basics and add embellishments. I’m very mixed media so I see silk noil, embroidery, beads, crewel, and so on. Thanks for sharing.

🎉 wow this is beautiful! We are coming to Bodo in Feb 24. We wont have a car and are only staying for 3 nights. Any tips for where we could go to get a good view? We havent booked anywhere to stay yet. Are there any taxis running at that time of year?
@TheHobbyBird6 ай бұрын
The Aurora are usually super active in February so as long as the weather cooperates you could have a good shot at seeing them. If they are strong you can see them pretty much anywhere. If you want to get away from light pollution to observe them better, there are lots of areas nearby for that. If you are looking for a hotel that is a bit more remote and on the outskirts of the city, then I can suggest Saltstraumen hotel. Less light pollution out there but nowhere near the city centre. Lots of great hotels in the city. Best of luck and welcome to Bodø. 😊
@TheHobbyBird6 ай бұрын
And taxis run year round but are incredibly expensive. Better to rely on public transport. 😊

So why the different needles? Does it make the felting more felted as you go up ? I am having a brain fart- self taught! Thank you !
@TheHobbyBird6 ай бұрын
They higher the gauge the finer the needle…so you could start with a 36 to bring it together and work your way up to a 40 for smoothing.
