Here is part 2 of this 3 part series.
Today is embarkation day after 2 beautiful days in Barcelona.
We board the beautiful Wonder of the Seas and explore the ship.
Our ports of call on this Western Mediterranean cruise are Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Marseille, France; La Spezia, Italy, Rome, Italy, Naples, Italy and back in Barcelona for disembarkation.
We chose to stay on the ship in both Palma and Rome.
In Marseille, we visited the old port and market.
In La Spezia we took the train to Cinque Terre, where we visited 2 of the villages, Vernazza and Manarola.
In Naples we walked around a bit and ate some pizza.
The Wonder of the seas is a beautiful ship and currently the largest in the world. We have previously sailed on 3 of her sister ships; Oasis, Allure and Symphony.
We will be sailing on Wonder again for a short 3 night cruise from Rome to Barcelona, before she does her transatlantic crossing back to the Florida.
The shows and entertainment on this ship are outstanding!
