I married a Greek American, have been to Greece to see his family many times and I bought a clay pot (not as large and deep as yours) and brought it back in my suitcase last time. I've really enjoyed using it to make Lamb Kleftiko. I also brought back Greek oregano, thyme, and rosemary and used it in this recipe. DELISH! Thank you for sharing!👁🗨
Hii.. Can we bake it instead of frying..
Hi, I have never baked them before but as a guess if you do put them in the oven the pastry will harden like shortcrust pastry does when you make a pie and then soften when it gets to room temperature. Frying gives them a crispy crunch but they soften the next day too. You can bake a few and see what you think, it doesn't matter if the rest is left on the side, just put them in the fridge and if you like them bake the rest as well or fry if not. I absolutely love aniseed tea 😍 we had a teapot with a built-in strainer and I used to take the aniseeds from the teapot after mum brewed some tea to chew on them as well 😂
This is my favourite tea 😋 I've never eaten them and everytime a few loose seeds get in my cup I quickly spit them out 😆 But I have eaten fennel seeds after dinner which is meant to be good for digestion and they taste similar to aniseeds so I may give them a try next time 😉

How long did you put them in the oven for?
Hi, I put them in a preheated 200C oven for 20-25 minutes 😊

My parents are the same. When I ask, I listen to the gist of what thy are saying and then I experiment with what notes I have until I get the food to taste like I want. It takes a bit of time but I get there in the end 😉 I try and explain as much as I can in my videos so everyone can understand because I have been in the situation of 'What are they talking about?' 😄😆

Don't be sorry I like the comments and always interested what others have to say. Thanks for the suggestion, I have quite a few Ghanaian recipes to film, I have done a few polls on my Instagram account and most said they prefered for me to make Cypriot recipe videos that is why I haven't filmed that many Ghanaian recipes. I don’t think so because it only grows if u harvest it but it won’t grow all year round or naturally. Since we don’t grow it anymore, I doubt it as it would need a lot of human intervention for it to grow in Cyprus.

Just had some, i wanted a salad with tuna, the place was an organic place where I got it. women at the counter said it was like tuna. Well to me it wasn't like tuna 😂. Not terrible but different. Will i have it again, don't know, not dieing for it.
