Much respect to you for being vulnerable. Keep learning and getting better!
M 25 same situation❤
I bought my phone from the US and its NOT locked. If u travel to other countries, u should try avoid buying a device locked to a specific network provider. Anyway, u can easily resolve the issue by buying a second phone or any device that u can use at any country. There are good phones that you can find for 250$ and below, new or secondhand. U dont really need an expensive device but thats how u work around if u wanna open a bank account and do other transactions.
@@chazziechill indo govt did this thing where they block any phone u bought abroad unless u pay the feee LOL. My friend ended up loaning me a second phone

You can consider booking flight tickets with layovers in China when back to US. China currently allows foreigners a transit stay of up to 144 hours. That must bring a lot of fun to your journey.
@@manfredl733 oooo interesting
Hi Crush ❤, you are amazing 😍
Hi! Thank you for the very inspiring video! Why not buying a 30$ dumb phone if you normal phone is causing you that much trouble?

gurl, so proud of you! Starting over in 27 is not easy, because I also re-direct my career path in 27, live in my parents house, and it feels like starting from zero again. But I think this is better than wondering later in my life. Btw I enjoy your vlogs so much! very relatable :")
goodluck to us :-) thank you for your kind words aaaa!!

As another tech bro who once had a dream, this is oddly inspiring
it takes a lot of courage to do this, looking forward to seeing your next projects :>
:") thank you!!
Welcome to Indonesia.
makasih!!
Glad to hear from you again via vlog!! If you're staying in Indonesia for less than 3 months, is it an option for you to just get the tourist length unlock? That's what I did when I was visiting Jakarta for 2 weeks, but the temporary unlock lasts for 3 months IIRC, it was super easy to do at the airport, and should be more convenient than carrying around an extra hotspot.
i didn't know that was an option until after i bought the hotspot hahah :")
It's a hard decision but it's a smart move. Moving forward sometimes requires making tough decisions to step back. You know what needs to be done. Trimming to what's need, to travel lighter was what pioneers traveling across the country to new locations was required, even if emotionally painful, it isn't essential. Taking stock, restructuring/plan, helps to prepare for going forward again. Until then, enjoy family, friends and home. Good luck. BTW, I've had setbacks a few times, regrouped, replanned, reimplemented and it took time but it works out. I had a good career after the setbacks but kept moving forward. Now, retired and enjoying a good & satisfactory career and personal life.
needed to hear this, thank you so much :-)
Truly inspiring video Joy :) on a side note: food in Jakarta looks dope
thank you tobi!! :))
"I played my life so far leveraging my weaknesses and I'm really curious to see how and what happens if I leverage my strenghts" WOW that was just... I wasn't ready for it, it really took me <3

This title was so relatable, last year i turned 27, and i had left an 8 year relationship and was laid off earlier that year. Ironically, I ironed out some of my breakup with my ex in bryant park august of 2023. It does feel like a huge mountain to climb. but knowing that other people are going through similar experiences is a great way to realize, you're never really alone.
It's be pleasure to making dating with you if our locations very close
can u prioritise finding a life partner in addition to career stuffs? also big cities like NYC & LA have so many quality of life disadvantages compared to smaller ones

27. no job. no partner. doing master in uni as an international student. Let's get that degree 🫡
Agree with what you said at the end. I'm 16 and I thought by this age I'd have all the things that normal people my age have at 16 including a boyfriend but I don't. I've recently come to the realization that it's fine to have goals and dreams but it's never a guarantee that you will be the person you thought you were going to be by that age and all you can do is make your life the best you can everyday. Thanks for the advice it helps understanding from the point of view of what it's like being in your 20's.
I'm only 16 but seeing a lot of couples at my school makes me feel like I'm already losing this game before I can even start. Now I know everyone is going to hate me for this, saying that I'm so young but there's a bunch of teen couples out there and it sucks. I tried "dating" apps which originally the app was supposed to be for making new friends but the dudes on there are trash. I just don't want to look back when I go to tell my marriage story about how I met my husband on a dating app.
LMAO it's so true, you pay in your mental health 🤣
Amazing story telling! I loved watching because I could relate to so much of this. I up and left my hometown, moved to NYC with 2 suitcases and a dream! It's such an amazing city to learn lessons and grow in. I can't wait to hear more from you!
