John Wick may scare the Continental shitless, but Brian Mills does not think of them as a challenge and they know with him, they're doomed. He was breaking the law in the first movie to get his daughter back. Imagine what he can do to someone like Gramont de Marqui. I find Brian Mills scarier than John Wick.

I have a great idea just now if one day someone would like to make a film of Short Round (birth name: Wan Li). So it goes like this: The film could start off in the late 1960s, possibly 1969. The early-mid middle age Short Round (acted by Jonathan Ke Huy Quan as a cameo appearance in the starting) was watching a news in the television where it was showcasing the success of Neil Armstrong and his crew returning from the Moon when Indiana Jones (who was riding a horse) abruptly entered the broadcast while being chased by someone. Upon seeing this, it somehow triggered a memory hidden within Short Round. Until here, the film slowly recount Short Round life in an anime/cartoon-style: his family, how he became an orphan, his life in the streets before he first met Indiana Jones and Wu Han etc…

Sometimes, an honourable act by a noble man is able to reach the last of humanity buried in his adversary. It is the act itself that almost humbles them. The look on Murad's face at 1:07, you can see he's surprised, thinking it through but he has to ask why. When he nods to Bryan, he has the look on his face of a man humbled by the generosity of the act, being given his life to go and live with his family. However, a smart honourable man does not bet his life on honour alone, because he KNOWS not everyone is honourable, so Bryan's 'insurance' was that the gun was never loaded. If Murad allows him the peace to leave in that moment, then its likely the issue is put to bed with both men at an understanding between them. Murad's treachery in attempting to kill Bryan after he spared his life - you could see the look on his face; the realisation (and internal horror) that he had no honour himself, and now he was going to die for his betrayal. A fitting end for a POS, and good that Bryan never fully trusted him! *Yes, this is an analysis of the scene, but as a writer this is the kind of shit I do haha :D

Murad doesn't care about his son's actions, but he cares about his death. Marco died for the crimes he had committed, and his victims' friends and families grieved, got justice, and moved on. Murad chose disgrace, which led to his death.

Byran & Murad have something in common: they love their families and Would do anything for their sake even if it means torturing or killing those who have harmed them. Of course Murad is like Bryan's Dark equivalent, which of course makes them more Different. Mainly because Bryan's is good, army veteran and former government agent. Murad is evil because he's a mafia boss who tortures the innocent. Murad is also a hypocrite as he feels his life ruined because his son Marco who was killed by Bryan, truly he deserved die. Murad Wants to ruin Bryan's life by killing him and HIS family. But It seems Murad looks pass on the fact HE and MARCO had ruined life's of multiple innocent people and their families. By kidnapping and pimping innocent women and even killing innocent people for example; Amanda. Their families are forced to live that Because of Murad & Marco. Just like Bryan & Kim had to Lenny's death in the movie after this one when Stuart killed her for insurance money. Bryan gave Murad the choice to still move on with his Life despite Marco being killed by his hands. Although Murad said he would of course, he was dishonorable and tried to kill Bryan after he left the gun he threatened him with on the floor. This ultimately led to his death. Did he really think, Byran would stupid to leave a gun that was loaded on the ground? He knew Murad wouldn't get over it. Also as said in this scene before Bryan killed Murad he said that if Murad's two other sons ever try come towards him and his family, he will kill them as well.

Your comment is truly better than mine, plus you make an excellent point on what Murad really is. He doesn't care about the damage that happens to people which Marco committed, but when the damage happens to him, he cares. The families and friends of the late kidnapped girls from Taken 1, although they were saddened, they had to move on. Murad refuses to move on, but he ends up dead. Edit update: I deleted my previous comment, and wrote a new one. Still, your comment is better than mine.
