  1:30 Fun fact. That part with the rope wasn’t scripted. The bullet was supposed to hit a packed bunch of nitroglycerin in the rope which would have snapped it in half. The gunshot spooked the horse into running, leaving Eli literally hanging from the tree branch. That face that Tuco makes when he’s getting hanged was real.

  Client Eastwood....Elie wallach...Lee van cliff....made a wonderful competition in this movie on those days.. unforgettable movie with my people..might have seen later days.. 60 to 70 times..never get boarded
