As a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called Mormons) I can promise you we don’t just ask you to follow subjective feelings. The Book of Mormon stands as tangible evidence to the validity of the Church and we simply ask people to determine for themselves in much the same way Christ Himself asked “whom say ye that I am” and the praising Simon (then named Peter) for his testimony saying “flesh and blood hath not revealed this to thee but my Father which is Heaven”. We ask people to see the fruits of the Church and determine if it is good and if you have faith in the teachings of the Church then we ask you to join yourself to it. It is not just subjective feelings, and while feelings do play a key role in conversion our Baptismal interview questions revolve around faith and not feelings.

This is why I like original science. The real science, real science is looking at something and trying to figure it out, then all of a sudden somewhere in time science got taken over by universities and became about money and they always went from the predisposition that it was contrary to God. The truth is most scientist before that time believed in God And in large part science was an exercise of the church. I grew up I guess you could say an atheist I wasn’t really Christian but I was really into science but somewhere along the line I noticed that there was a huge shift when science became university-based and all the sudden became about money and profit And largely political and the problem was they didn’t say well here’s something. Let’s figure it out what they did was they went into it trying to prove a point and it became sort of science and they only consider it valid if it fits their narrative which included atheism. They start with the predisposition that science is contrary to creation and that Did you Christian creation belief must be wrong therefore they try to explain it away with their so-called science. When you look at things like evolution, sorry evolution is some of the most garbage science on the planet. They don’t have anything there’s not a missing lake there are no links at all no species has ever jumped from one species to another Darwin was about adaptation crab specially equipped to feed itself in times when food wasn’t plentiful with long skinny claw to get in the rocks bread more often when food wasn’t plentiful and others died off so his physical characteristics of the long skinny claws perpetuated more in the species traits Help him adapt to the environment but it was always a crap. It never turned into a horse or garbage man or anything else. Birds adapt but the same birds just with distinct characteristics that fit their environment. This is adaptation not evolution and act like there is one missing link, there are no links. There are no cross species mutations and they draw these pictures and graphs and talk about the evolution of man, but it doesn’t really exist, if you look at the bones of man throughout history there are different shapes to them but it was always human. Then you come up with the famous missing link or the skull they call Lucy and do the data on it, most of the scientist that have reviewed this think it’s a recess monkey skull others think it’s a form of skull a couple of them say they don’t really know it could be anything and a couple of them said well, we don’t know what it is therefore it must be human in nature. They have that they have a bone with a couple of scratches on it where they came up with this theory that those scratches are about as wide as a pygmy humans teeth would be and therefore this somehow proof that humans eat bone marrow and were able to survive when other animals won’t because, superior intellect that the science evolution theory has ever been proven and that’s not proven and when you argue it they’ll say well a tiger teeth would’ve been bigger if it was a young tiger it had been bigger scratches on bone skull that’s probably a skull, some scientist is indeterminable therefore it might not prove got popular because King liked it and wanted it taught it was a story and that’s the problem when you get into the collegiate era of science. And now we have areas of the scientific community that are pretty much science-fiction but universities generate money off of it because they tell really cool stories and a lot of it is just ridiculous then you have people like Stephen Hawking, you ever listen to Stephen Hawking talk, nobody has because what they do is he mumble something and some guy comes out with his long eloquent sentence of what he said when Stephen Hawking mumbled something for a second, his guy comes out with a three minute speech ridiculously fake if you look at it from a scientific perspective and consider that these guys might be wrong even though the whole world tells us that they are absolutely right and that they are the most geniuses in the greatest minds that have ever existed just listen to what they say, most of it pretty ridiculous and it understood it but when you compare this to someone like Einstein or Tesla, it’s just glaringly clear that these people are just ridiculous and they create this random theory and then they come up with other random theories to support that random theory because there’s no evidence whatsoever for most of them so they create circular arguments based on other theories that have no evidence when you sit there and put the time to study at all there’s no evidence at all only evidence is other theories they make up to support the first one that was completely unprovable. Neil Degrasse Tyson and others , who have turned it into some sort of religion I keep talking to us about this science but when you actually go look at the data and the real science behind it it’s junk science. They don’t have any data to back up. It’s a bunch of theories that were marketed very well became very popular but don’t really have anything to back it up. But science things that are approvable tangible, they don’t really contradict with the Bible and as time shows even with things like archaeology where their excavating sites and finding clues and relics from the past it’s consistent with the Bible and for some reason modern science is taken an atheistic belief system that they believe science in the Bible are somehow an opposition do each other need to be an opposition and therefore Start all science by assuming everything in the Bible is wrong so they try to figure out another way of explaining it and that’s not science. A scientist doesn’t care what anybody else believes to look at a situation and try to figure out what they can observe or reproduce, see if they can explain, why something is or how it works. When you go into it with a predisposition of what it must be or what it can’t be then your opinion is biased and skewed and therefore not actually science. Science looks at the evidence and what is reproduce uses the scientific method to test it as much as you can and then it comes up with a data set and you say from this data set here the possibility That all there are no definitive answers and scientists go into it with an atheist attitude and says well the Bible is wrong and so that can possibly interject here. Find some desert Israel it can’t be that so let’s see what else it might be explain it away that way, they come up with some sort of theoretical physics or pretty much anything else? They find out when they go into the predisposition that God is fake. They rule out the possibility and in their mind it will never prove God is true because if it did, they will say that’s in valid, but the reality of it is provable legitimate science doesn’t contradict with the Bible. God it’s only evolutionary science in the Big Bang theory that don’t work problem with the Big Bang theory and evolution is they’re trying to prove a narrative so they always look at the evidence through the narrow scope of the narrative and not what it could be. Carbon dating, carbon dating can be off by 100 million years in any given direction so if they find a relic and they say this is from a period of 20 million years ago and the carbon date and it says 3000 years ago they say well that can’t be so they just throw it out and they keep testing it another way till they get one that says it might be from where they thought it was and then they just use that until it’s Proven, when in fact every other scientific method proves something else but they don’t care about the data because they’re pushing a narrative they’re trying to sell a story and that’s not science. Legitimate science does not contradict the Bible in the modern university system science can’t handle that because it’s built on a predisposition that Christianity must be fake and that the Bible must be a man-made false production and they only look at science through that lens and they’ve thrown out things like provability and probability and reality they go into it trying to tell a story and they do the science trying toprove their story and they were the science and the data to fit their narrative and that’s not science. Those are people with science degrees playing games and earning money to sell stuff stories to raise money. Mr. Tyson isn’t a scientist he’s an entertainer he’s a TV personality.

It’s a silly argument, hundreds and hundreds of people saw him post resurrection, the idea that three of the gospels talking about it and one not somehow indicates that that it didn’t happen is nonsensical. These aren’t arguments these are somebody trying to put something in your head that doesn’t even make sense. It’s not like those gospels were written chronologically like one guy wrote his and then the next guy read that and wrote his own. They were written independently. Matthew was aimed mainly for the Jews who were kind of there for the resurrection part so probably probably didn’t need to talk about it a lot to them.

I always heard it as him slept with his mother and created Kane. That was part of the curse of the canine knights was to be perverted and incestuous, which was kind of part of their pagan ritual stuff. If you were walking and you found someone starving and you had a meal, would you not give them that meal knowing it would save them? Well god doesn't. There is evil and suffering in the world because there is no god of any holy book. Christianity is an absurdity, one of many religious vehicles for hate and othering in our world today. The idea that a god has to sacrifice himself to himself for rules he created is just plainly weird and of no use in today’s world. If I was a Mormon I would point out that Jeremiah 17:9 Is an old testament teaching that is completely irrelevant because we are now in the new covenant and God promised that Under the new covenant, He would put His laws in our hearts and write them on our minds (Hebrews 10:11). I personally don’t believe that the new covenant has started yet but I think it’s hilarious the mainstream Christians overlook this when telling Mormons not to follow their hearts lol.

@@cameronstolhand7149 Jesus, who is God, declared that the old covenant was done and over when He said "it is finished" on the cross. Jesus ushered in the new covenant, and the new covenant has absolutely begun, because the new covenant is with Him. Jesus is the bridegroom and those who place their faith and trust in Him (The Church universal) are His bride. The Old testament is not in any way irrelevant, especially seeing how many times the New testament repeatedly points at writings in the Old testament, including your Hebrews passage, which ironically is pointing at Jeremiah 31:33&34. Like yourself, I dislike how many mainstream "Christians" behave and how they cherry pick parts from the Bible that fit their feelings, when over and over again God warns in the Bible that because of sin, the human heart is clouded. Our feelings are tainted and cannot be trusted fully. This is not to say don't ever trust feelings nor is it to discredit feelings completely. We are merely warned that sin has caused the need to have discernment about feelings.

Ask someone with a science background who studied science since I was a little kid, I don’t see where science and God contradict I see where some science that isn’t proven, mainly evolution conflicts because evolution is invalid science from a scientific perspective. Neil Degrasse Tyson and others , who have turned it into some sort of religion I keep talking to us about this science but when you actually go look at the data and the real science behind it it’s junk science. They don’t have any data to back up. It’s a bunch of theories that were marketed very well became very popular but don’t really have anything to back it up. But science things that are approvable tangible, they don’t really contradict with the Bible and as time shows even with things like archaeology where their excavating sites and finding clues and relics from the past it’s consistent with the Bible and for some reason modern science is taken an atheistic belief system that they believe science in the Bible are somehow an opposition do each other need to be an opposition and therefore Start all science by assuming everything in the Bible is wrong so they try to figure out another way of explaining it and that’s not science. A scientist doesn’t care what anybody else believes to look at a situation and try to figure out what they can observe or reproduce, see if they can explain, why something is or how it works. When you go into it with a predisposition of what it must be or what it can’t be then your opinion is biased and skewed and therefore not actually science. Science looks at the evidence and what is reproduce uses the scientific method to test it as much as you can and then it comes up with a data set and you say from this data set here the possibility That all there are no definitive answers and scientists go into it with an atheist attitude and says well the Bible is wrong and so that can possibly interject here. Find some desert Israel it can’t be that so let’s see what else it might be explain it away that way, they come up with some sort of theoretical physics or pretty much anything else? They find out when they go into the predisposition that God is fake. They rule out the possibility and in their mind it will never prove God is true because if it did, they will say that’s in valid, but the reality of it is provable legitimate science doesn’t contradict with the Bible. God it’s only evolutionary science in the Big Bang theory that don’t work problem with the Big Bang theory and evolution is they’re trying to prove a narrative so they always look at the evidence through the narrow scope of the narrative and not what it could be. Carbon dating, carbon dating can be off by 100 million years in any given direction so if they find a relic and they say this is from a period of 20 million years ago and the carbon date and it says 3000 years ago they say well that can’t be so they just throw it out and they keep testing it another way till they get one that says it might be from where they thought it was and then they just use that until it’s Proven, when in fact every other scientific method proves something else but they don’t care about the data because they’re pushing a narrative they’re trying to sell a story and that’s not science. Legitimate science does not contradict the Bible in the modern university system science can’t handle that because it’s built on a predisposition that Christianity must be fake and that the Bible must be a man-made false production and they only look at science through that lens and they’ve thrown out things like provability and probability and reality they go into it trying to tell a story and they do the science trying toprove their story and they were the science and the data to fit their narrative and that’s not science. Those are people with science degrees playing games and earning money to sell stuff stories to raise money. Mr. Tyson isn’t a scientist he’s an entertainer he’s a TV personality.

It’s a silly argument, hundreds and hundreds of people saw him post resurrection, the idea that three of the gospels talking about it and one not somehow indicates that that it didn’t happen is nonsensical. If I was a Mormon I would point out that Jeremiah 17:9 Is an old testament teaching that is completely irrelevant because we are now in the new covenant and God promised that Under the new covenant, He would put His laws in our hearts and write them on our minds (Hebrews 10:11). I personally don’t believe that the new covenant has started yet but I think it’s hilarious the mainstream Christians overlook this when telling Mormons not to follow their hearts lol.

Jesus ushered in the new covenant, and the new covenant has absolutely begun, because the new covenant is with Him. Jesus is the bridegroom and those who place their faith and trust in Him (The Church universal) are His bride. The Old testament is not in any way irrelevant, especially seeing how many times the New testament repeatedly points at writings in the Old testament, including your Hebrews passage, which ironically is pointing at Jeremiah 31:33&34. Like yourself, I dislike how many mainstream "Christians" behave and how they cherry pick parts from the Bible that fit their feelings, when over and over again God warns in the Bible that because of sin, the human heart is clouded. Our feelings are tainted and cannot be trusted fully. This is not to say don't ever trust feelings nor is it to discredit feelings completely. We are merely warned that sin has caused the need to have discernment about feelings.
