Hi, my name is Jack Wood and I'm a film creator making videos about building stuff, travel, fishing, surfing, and adventures. My main goal is to inspire you to "Make Something" whether it's a project, video, or adventure. I’m a self-taught woodworker, creating and building pretty much anything. I'll be posting a video every week, or at least trying, but my posting schedule can get pretty random. I can’t wait to share my projects with you guys and grow this channel. Thank you guys for your support and I hope you’ll enjoy my content. I'm not the best at what I do but I'm trying to get better.

11:23 .. dude ?
I know that piece of wood looks like crap. It was there to momentarily hold some decking in place. It provides no structural support whatsoever, just never removed it.
So you have suggestions for passing other boaters and their wakes? How could you make it a smoother pass without crashing the waves so hard. Is there a position to put the boat in to help it take the wake waves better? I hope this makes sense. TIA
Thanks for your comment. In about a month, I’ll make another “How to” boating video that dives into the questions that you have.
I love how you start with feet and inches for the size of the plywood, then quickly changed for centimeters for the distance between nails hahaha Thank you for the tutorial, that's the best one I found, even 3 years later! I'll try one now hope it will end up as good as yours!
I know, I was all over the place with measurements. I’m want to make an updated video with better instructions.
❤❤❤great video
might wanna change the title to plus other supplies cuz your bringing power tools and wood into this
I love building boats once I found a ancor under the sand and i brought it home and i cleact rusty metal so i can hopefully build a boat of it love your vids
How to drive a boat when you're a rich kid😂
Great video and funny at the end 😂😂 felt very home video esq
I designed a boat of similar design a couple years back and have been revising it since - however - as one to cross the ocean with - with a boat this small my cabin however covers the entire deck space.
Ik this is an old vid but when I was in hs I got a small boat trailer from harbor freight u had to build it but it was like 100 bucks
Like if you watch from Ep. 1
when you turn the key, make a stop midway before you fully turn. It urts my eyes seeing you turn directly
I'm 47, started with Lego when I was very young and still going strong but now with wood and steel. I recently rigged an eight foot dinghy that I had made a few years back for sailing. Looks like you are in CA on the coast. Hmu when you plan to launch. I will bring my little boat too.
❤kool
Great video thanks for the info
Where did you get your plans?
It loos amazing... eyecatchy
Bro you are a legend.
I would love for this to be replayed and slowed down
I've been wanting to try one of these projects and your video was the easiest to comprehend However you've played it so fast that no matter how many times I rewatched your video because you turned your wood I cannot watch it and copy this project
Saya sangat bangga dengan adanya kreatifitas anak muda seperti ini🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Oooh Man. But what about the keel and such a boat will not be stable on the wave, add bars along the ribs from the outside and along the bottom. Foam absorbs water well, 😂everything there will rot, but you’re a good guy. Keep studying. Good luck. 😎
Amazing!
Thank you for all the info, getting my first boat soon
😅😮
You're frame lumber looks better than the boat! Keep up the good work! Granted covered in fiberglass, the plywood quality isn't super important.
Lol! I really shouldn’t have used Home Depot plywood. You live and learn though.
Love the content!
This looks sketchy. Every time I get to 3:22 and you start to talk about monitization, the video crashes. It's almost like you're trying to share something KZread doesn't want us to hear...
Thanks Jack - that was great and, as someone else has said, to the point, which is just what we need.
Worst case, you need to make your own trailer and register it as well, though I doubt it as there are so many. Looking forward to seeing it sail :D Sadly missed part 8 and 9, so just caught up :)
If you're already started on a project and you know you'll need lumber and fasteners in the future. Buy them right then and just build it whenever you're ready. You'll save yourself a fair amount of money, since those things rarely get cheaper. Over the last 2.5 years, lumber has went absolutely stupid in price! You're so lucky you bought your plywood when you did!
Jan = (yahn). Like John, but with a soft "j".
Great lesson. You got straight to the point. I love it.
In Arkansas I need one cause I’m getting a house by the river
❤
Can we get the thread on Amazon?
What plans did you buy for the boat ? Id like to start of on that journey too😂
This is STUNNING ❤
Good job and thank you for sharing God Bless
Do you need some type of boat license ? & do you think if you’re a first time boater that you can drive it with you and some friends for the first time alone as long as you watch these kind of videos ? It’s a small yacht we were tryna steer . Btw good job I understood well 🥰
where can I find template
Thanx for updating. I was waiting so long.❤
Trying video? Without a life vest?
I’m gonna fart innit
