Honestly, since I have had it, I keep it on the charging base when not in use. It seems that it stops charging the bank when it gets to 100%

I wish they did more with this device. The screen like space had so much potential to show more UI elements... the wireless charging spot could also charge other devices like a bluetooth speaker if they ever made one... I'd love to be able to use this as a one-step dock for wireless devices with the direct connection via metal pins.

Does this throttle down at 80% if optimized charging is turned on in the phone settings? The Amazon page has an image that says “other chargers - stop at 80%” which makes me wonder if this just blows on by it or not. Also curious if you experienced the problem some Amazon reviews mentioned (said it charged to 100, then shuts off and doesn’t come back on, so when you wake up the phone/watch may only be at 80-90% charge for example) Thanks.

If you have the 80% limit set in the iOS settings for the iPhone 15 series, iOS will stop the charging once it reaches 80%. There are times however, that I noticed iOS decides to charge to 100% even though it’s turned on and I found one of Apple articles saying that it’s normal operation as the software needs to calibrate for accurate battery percentage over time. The ESR charger stops at 80% when I have that function on. I think what they’re referring to on their image, is that previously cheaper wireless chargers got Hot and that caused the phones to stop charging at 80% wirelessly. I have not noticed my devices being charged less than 100% with the ESR Qi2 charger. I will definitely report back here, if over time, this is the case. I really hope not, otherwise it defeats the purpose of this charger.

Both have identical fit. Snug around the sides and no issues with the case slipping off. However, the synthesis is my favorite Caudabe case due to its slimness.

I haven’t intentionally thrown my phone around ,but the few times I have dropped it outside on concrete, the phone has no damage to the glass on the front and back as well as the sides. The case also has a unique texture that doesn’t really scuff that bad. That’s why I truly use it daily. I like my cases looking new and at the same time keeping my phone new.

Both caudabe cases will mess up with the debit card as they're made pretty tight around the phone. Regarding which protective case, the sheath from Caudabe is a little bit thicker, neither of them are the most protective but they get the job done.

This is something I have now started to notice on my blue Caudabe Sheath. There is like an air bubble around the magnets. This is interesting why it hasn't happened to all my caudabe sheath colors. I wonder if the MagSafe battery packs are causing this due to the heat. The Synthesis feels like its a bit thicker on the back with a slightly different material. Haven't noticed it so far.

The mics on the studio buds + are not bad, but not really good either. They get the job done. The AirPods Pro do have slightly better microphones when asking people that I talk to and when I tested voice memos with both sets.

My power bank arrived and it looks awesome. The only complaint is the material that scratches so easily that I haven't even used it and it already looks used. They could have rubberized that part at least on the side where it is charged, as Xiaomi did on its wireless power bank. Ok, it will be used, but let's make it durable a little bit

I bought 2 of these to charge my a iPhone 15 Pro Max. No mention in this review of the heat issues. After 40mins, it drops well below 10W, then you eventually get temp warnings on your iPhone. This happens on both packs. These run HOT after an hour of charging. I eventually had to return them and get non-QI2 packs which runs much cooler. I would completely avoid these QI2 packs until they solve the heat issues.

I didn’t mention the heat issue as I didn’t have this issue. The Anker battery pack doesn’t get hotter than the MagSafe Apple Battery pack on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both get hot, I didn’t notice that the Anker one gets extremely hot.

Samsung doesn't use MagSafe or Qi2 just yet. You can get a MagSafe case probably for your Samsung and it will work with the magnets on the case. If you place your Samsung phone on the MagSafe charger, it will charge but just slower, also it won't magnetically attach.

Standby mode can be used with the charger, because you can place the iPhone in horizontal position. The only difference from Belkin’s, is that on theirs, you can swivel the iPhone charging base to a different angle.

Hey there! Really glad you like Synthesis so much. We agree - it’s an awesome case and, surprisingly, converting a ton of former Sheath users this year for the reasons you mentioned! We did want to clarify one thing regarding the magnets. First, the position of the magnet within Sheath doesn’t actually correspond to the graphics on the microfiber lining. They’re in the same ballpark, but not exactly aligned. The reason is because, well, we're super finicky about graphic design (surprise surprise). Our uber talented design team cares an enormous amount about font size/weight, text placement, etc. so they designed the graphic design elements on the microfiber lining independent of the actual placement of the magnet, which isn't visible at all. As for the issue with the placement of the Synthesis magnets, we noticed that you were using a MagSafe Duo charger. We actually love that charger, but as you probably know, Apple discontinued it a while ago. And, as it turns out, that charger is notorious for interfering with many cases. Since it was designed before MagSafe accessories gained popularity, Apple probably realized that they needed to redesign the perimeter of the charger in order to not interfere with third party MagSafe accessories. That’s our guess anyway! Synthesis works perfectly with basically all of the newest MagSafe chargers, power banks, wallets, etc. Thanks again for this awesome video and we're glad to hear you like Synthesis so much!

The S23 FE has Qi wireless charging, not Qi2. That means that it will not magnetically attach to this power bank, unless you buy a case with magnets.

I got the MagGo 10000. It'a a great battery but still have a lot flaws. 1st it does not fit the 6.1" iPhone 15 Pro, only the Max. The battery is longer than the 15 Pro when mounted on the phone. 2nd is the build quality. The Charging Pad face of the power bank does not stay flat on the phone when charging, the surface has irregularities (bad quality) and the lower part where the second magnet is located has always a 1-2 millimeters raise from the glass back of the phone. 3rd, on the iPhone 15 Pro it starts to charge with 15 Watts but after 30-40 mins goes all the way down to 5-6 Watts.

I’d love to take the Momax where ever I want and plug my MacBook, iPhone, AirPods, … into the USB Ports. Without bringing additional chargers.

The Momax plugs are not converters. So anything that has a power supply that doesn’t show 120-240V will need a converter. Your Apple devices can plug directly into the usb-c ports of the momax to charge or they can use their own US power block plugged into the front of the momax plug. Everything else that doesn’t have the 120-240V will need a converter to work. The Momax doesn’t help with conversion.

I’d love to take the Momax where ever I want and plug my MacBook, iPhone, AirPods, … into the USB Ports. Without bringing additional chargers.
The Momax plugs are not converters. So anything that has a power supply that doesn’t show 120-240V will need a converter. Your Apple devices can plug directly into the usb-c ports of the momax to charge or they can use their own US power block plugged into the front of the momax plug. Everything else that doesn’t have the 120-240V will need a converter to work. The Momax doesn’t help with conversion.
