At this point of your responses I do not know what you are talking about. I thought my post was clear: My unit doesn't work, I contacted the service and I posted Quotes of what they told me to do....then I commented on what I though of what they suggested I do. Sorry for the confusion. I was just sharing my experience with a Lemon out of the box and the company not taking responsibility but expecting me to fix their defective unit. Even though I have a two year warranty guaranty.
I am so sorry truly..my brain should have just waited to respond when I wasn’t in the middle of my training class. We were finishing up the last few minutes of break and thought I could respond. My bad reading that a certain way and realizing I didn’t respond making much sense in a rushed response. So I apologize about that! I read that out of proportion. Truly sorry. I was confused a bit. I’m sorry your experience was not a great one. I swear some companies truly suck on instructing people to fix issues or lazy and don’t want to fix the problem is what I’m finding with my past experiences as well. I am also no mechanic and I don’t think I could figure that out either. So that’s not cool how they expected you to know that. It would be at least nice to have a person on the phone to walk through step by step on how to fix the machine at least. And not just read it because it’s just as confusing that way. I would definitely request to send it back if you can and get it either replaced or a refund. Whichever you think is best but the fact you also have that 2 year warranty they should definitely help with that. Sorry all that):
First dryer you show mine looks like it’s locked. It doesn’t spin to dry the clothes. What can I do please thank you.
Hey just responded to your other message. I think your message double sent. Anyway hope it all gets figured out and all goes well(:
First dryer you show mine looks like it’s locked. It doesn’t spin to dry the clothes. What can I do please thank you.
Oh it must be something wrong with the machine. Not exactly sure. If it’s not running or doesn’t work I’d suggest reaching out directly to the manufacturer, have them replace the machine or they can issue a refund, however you’d like to go about that.
QUESTION: What is that hose port on the right above the spinner for? And did you receive an actual booklet instruction manual?
Hello again, It’s for the other side to have water on as the spin cycle. So when your spinning the dirty water from your clothes you can have the hose put on that other side to and have the water on, and have the spinner on at the same time that way it’s adding new water but rinsing your clothes out better while it’s spinning(: Yes I did receive the manual too.
only worth it if it works. just used mine today. the spinner doesn't work. so i'm sitting here with soaking wet clothes....
Sorry to hear about your experience. It was worth it for me because of course mine worked luckily. As mentioned in my disclaimers though, everyone can have a different experience with the same machine. Sometimes the item you order may not be made correctly or something goes the complete opposite unexpectedly on its way to you unfortunately. My best suggestion in this case where the spin cycle isn’t working is to send it back and let the manufacturer know so they can send you a new one or issue you a refund, however you want to go about that.
@@neoshazavala Oh i am spiitng needles. They sent me a message: "Here is my claim department's response : " We received the email from the customer, here is our reply. Hello, Thanks for your message. For the ring, This is used to install the fixed inlet pipe. Could you please check whether the dehydration motor is running, and whether the lid of the dehydration bucket is closed? If the motor is running but the inner cylinder does not spin: 1. It may be that there are too many clothes, please try to put on less clothes. 2. It may be that the inner cylinder and the motor are separated, please open the back cover and have a check. If the motor is not running and the cover is normally closed: 1. There is a problem with the cable between the knob and the motor. You can try to open the back cover and buckle the brake strap down a hole, or two. 2. There may be a problem with the safety switch, open the control panel, find the dehydration knob, there are two copper sheets, check whether there is oxidation, press down with your hand, and let the two copper sheets touch each other. " First of all: I am not a mechanic. II have no idea what these parts are. THERE IS NO MANUEL just a blurred memeographed enclosed sheet of a page with blurred printing. I have muscular issues and am older. I can't get down on the ground and open an area of a machine like that. This was the first use. It doesn't work. The spin doesn't work empty, with one item with two items, etc. It's a LEMON! And i purchased a two year warranty on it. I had to send a video of it not working and THIS is the response. NO Responsibility for a defective unit.
@Tocimah Sorry I hope you felt my response wasn’t rude? I hope you weren’t upset because of their service. I hope not.. maybe I’m reading it the other way around. I’m not sure how you took that. Maybe me too. But my intention was not to make you upset. So hopefully we’re good there(: And I also am no mechanic either. I truthfully was just trying to learn as much as I could about this item once I found it myself and seeing how much it helped me and saved me time and money, so that is why I made this video about it to have others have what I have to make there lives easier to like it did mine. But the unfortunate part about buying anything from anyone, is that sometimes the item you order doesn’t come to you in the way it should. Or the company just sucks and doesn’t take care of their customers like they should to. That is the company’s fault for sure. But unless you’re talking about them and not me then it makes sense about them not taking responsibility for the defective unit based on their response to you. Haha. But no I’m sorry you’re experiencing that with those guys. That’s frustrating
@@neoshazavala I don't know where you think I thought your response was rude? I shared the verbatim email from Costco telling me to fix my machine with all this terminology I have no clue what they are talking about..... Did you read the post all the way through?
I did, I apologize I was speed reading a bit, I’m at my new job today and was on break for 20 minutes and I quickly responded before we went on break waiting for the trainer to get back. That’s when I sped read and I got confused when i was reading the copy and pasted answer but how the message was ended I was like in oh hope she don’t hate me. Sorry about that
I bought the next size down 2024 Costway via Amazon version and the lint filter is different. I could figure yours out easily, especially with your demo. But with this one-- cannot get the !@#$'in thing out. I moves up and down like it would pop open in either position, but NO. There is nowhere it actually releases. So after 2 loads I'm screwed and can't do anymore until I figure out how to get it out. No instructions whatso effing ever. As far as the water level guides--I searched with a flashlight and there aren't any. That's the 17.6 lbs (total wash plus spin, not wash tub size) machine.
Can you shoot me the exact name of the model you got? I want to look it up and see what the is model looks like in person. Thats so weird that the lint filter does not release. I wanna see if I can figure it out looking at a video or image or something. I understand that can definitely be frustrating. Sorry about your experience with that machine): Not sure how that they built that one. But its not sounding to reliable.
I have yo use one of these given my living situation 😬 iv 3d printed fittings and plugs for mine to use in shower, gotta love it 😂❤
Hey if it works it works right?! lol that’s right, gotta love it 😆🙏🏽
@@neoshazavala dose the job im really suprised with what it can do!! my only concern is how strong really is the pump/filter on drain, some say should be draining level or least from high to low point if that makes sense, guess cant complain for £100 lol get oil out my stuff dont really have a choice :)
Hey I’m glad to hear that the machine is also working out for you!(: I forgot to edit it on my videos looking back. So the soft is more of a softer agitation for delicate materials. So then the normal is where the agitation continues longer to wash materials better to. But right I agree! Lol
@neoshazavala iv been using power with mine for last year or so kinda yolo approach 🤣 but I do keep meaning to change over but it's what I have access too 😏
She still didn't said if she will recommended it or not
Hello there, sorry I didn’t directly say the words of “I recommend it in the video”. But given the overall vibe and the ending with nothing negative about the machine. Just thought it would make more sense is to what I meant and how I felt about the machine. So yes I recommend the machine. If that helps answer anything(:
I use a handheld showerhead which fills the machine up quickly and you can rinse the soap off easily also. 😊
Hey there ya go, that’s definitely helpful as well! Yeah if you have one of those or have the option to build it in as well. I’d definitely recommend that as well☺️
Hi, do you still use this??? Do you think it works with Jeans?
I actually moved into my new place where I no need this machine any more. But it was still working at the time I last used it. It does work with jeans but i recommend washing no more than 2 at a time. Just depends on the size of the materials.
@@neoshazavala thanks for telling me. Congratulations on your new place!!!!
Hey thank you so much!! I appreciate that 🙏🏽☺️
Thank you so much. You gave me some really amazing tips on how to use this little guy. I really appreciate it.
Hey thanks for the feedback(: I’m happy I could help you to!
After 3 years is the machine still working?
Yes(:
HELP!!! I purchased both the washer and dryer from Wayfair some months ago. I'm disabled and this purchase has been a true Godsend. I'm disabled and hv no W/D in my handicapped APMT. However, it's only been six months and the spinner smells like burnt rubber and it does not spin enough to get the water out of the clothes. I have troubleshooted and done everything I know to do except for taking off the back panel. Then as my luck would have it, my dryer completely stopped working the next day. What's concerning is I've only used these maybe 10 times since purchase. Thank God I bought the 3-year warranty on both with Allstate. I called Wayfair and explained to them what happened and they could not get ahold of anyone about this warranty issue. So, instead they are going to replace both units for FREE!! What I would love is the knowledge of how to fix them so I could donate them to those in need. I know the feeling of being homeless bc I only get a grand a month from SSDI. I'm not finding any videos online to help me. Sooo, I'm reaching out to as many peeps as I can to see if anyone can help. Sorry for the length of this post.
Hey, sorry for the delayed response. I’m sorry to hear your machine is going through some troubles. I would definitely recommend to contact the company directly which is sounding like you’re also not having much luck. So I apologize about that. Well actually as I’m reading and typing looks like you got that replaced both for free?! That’s even better news! I hope it all worked out for you in the long run! Sorry I couldn’t be much help! Thank god for warranties lol! Anyway good luck going forward! I wish you all the best with your machine!
@@neoshazavala yes, thank God. I really love shopping at Wayfair because their customer service is the best. I'm so thankful they are replacing both units for free. I still wished I could figure out how to fix them so I could donate it. But can't have everything right? Thank you so much for responding.
Is it big enough for a queen sized comforter?
No, comforters/bigger blankets would be too big for this machine and could cause damages. Make sure not to over crowd the machine since water weight the material you put into it also gains that weight as well while washing.
I bought one of these about four months back, and I love it. I also set mine into the bathtub to use and fill it with my hand-held shower sprayer. I use about 1/4 cup of liquid detergent and a couple of tablespoons of borax per load. My only trouble occurred in prying the lint trap out; I resorted to my needle-nose pliers to get it out. Not sure why mine is so tight.
Oh that’s great, borax is also a great suggestion for laundry use so thank you for that as well! But I’m sorry to hear your experience regarding the lint trap. I’m not sure but was it built maybe size and width maybe off for the piece to not want to get put back into place correctly without anything being too tight or loose? Maybe it wasn’t measured properly at the time of making it is what I can think of.
Try placing the cord over the shower curtain rod 🤔
Honestly, I’m moved out of that apartment and luckily don’t really have to worry about doing this anymore. But, also I did it that way for 4 years and honestly had no issue. Just gotta angle it just right. I do appreciate the suggestion though since that could be better for others as well🙏🏽
Hello! Just got mine today and was looking for an instructional video and yours was first to pop up. Thank you! I thought I was doing something wrong, but I do exactly what you’ve shown here. I ran the wash but my spinner doesn’t work at all. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer but it’ll take a few days to hear back. Have you heard of others where the spin cycle doesn’t function?
Of course thanks for watching(: Sorry to hear your machine isn’t operating correctly though. I would definitely ask for a replacement since that one isn’t working on the spin cycle side. I haven’t personally had any issues with it as long as you make sure not to overload your laundry inside that little spinner, because it cannot withstand too much weight or else it knocks on all sides. Have you heard anything back from the manufacturer since?
@@neoshazavala thanks for your reply!Well, they’re allowing me to return it but didn’t offer to replace it. Kind of bummed because I do like the convenience of having this unit instead of having to haul my laundry to the laundromat.
Oh man sorry for the late reply, but also sorry to hear that as well. Thats unfortunate they couldn’t replace it or anything like that. Sorry that experience isn’t the best. I hope you found something that works for you by now. Good luck with everything else moving forward (:
Where the Water go? Normal dryer have box what fill maybe 1 2 liter Water per program so where it go..?
16:35 is where I go over that.
Omg, i have one on the way, the other videos I've watched were good but this one, by far, has been the best post. Thank you!!! 🦋🦋🦋
Thank you so much!! I appreciate your comment🙏🏽😊
I just got mine Today, but I wonder if mine is a bit different. Mine has a drain pump, but not what I'd call strong one. It sounds as if yours drains from both drums, but might only pump from the spin drum. Mine pumps water out from both drums when in drain mode, plus it drains (maybe also pumps, not sure yet) when in spin mode. I might make a brief video of mine once I get the related plumbing rearranged.
Is it a different brand by chance? Is that what you mean? Or same machine I have brand wise that is doing this drum deal? Sorry sometimes I suck not visually seeing certain things in order to understand it more. So if you make a video or have by now I’m interested in seeing it to better understand what you’re mentioning to me.
@@neoshazavala It's a Costway, but after I set it up and used it some, I figured that it's probably different, at least in terms of draining. I'll try to make a video soon, and hopefully upload it on Monday.
Okay great lmk when you upload it, I’ll check it out
@@neoshazavala They should show up as the two newest ones on my channel. I was thinking that my phone was better at picking my voice up, but I may be able to amplify it or write out any muffled words.
Yes l, I checked out your videos. I could hear you just fine. But I wish I could give you an answer, because that one is a different model though it’s the same brand they’re slightly different. I’m not sure exactly about how your machine is with the draining/drums unfortunately. Sorry I could be any help/:
I was wondering how am I going to hook this up to a water source. The funnel idea never crossed my mind. Smart! Thanks again.
Hey, thank you so much for watching, glad I could help you as well!(:
This is an excellent review. My washer broke down 2 years ago and I refuse to put tons of money into another set. I've been using a wringer attached to my sink which works for me quite well, but this would be useful for a couple pair of jeans or other things that are more difficult to wash. Thanks for taking the time for making such a good review.
Hey thanks for the feedback!(: I’m happy you also found this useful! So again thank you so much 🙏🏽😊
I was being made fun of for having one of these. They were like you must be poor or something.
All I can say is there is always someone with a negative opinion about anything. And all I can say is everyone has many different living situations, and this is one of my ways I get by life easier while saving money while I’m at it. Let close minded people assume. You live your life and do what works for you. Point here is you and only you know your situation best. Let the naysayers think whatever. I ain’t complaining I saved tons utilizing this machine. Yes it’s more manual/physical labour, but hey you save money in the long run(;
I just bought one and the directions were vague hard and hard to understand. Then I found you lol! Thank You so much! 🤙✌
Hey thank you so much 😊 I appreciate your feedback! I’m always happy to help!
Thank you. Are there times where you have to break up the spinning task into sections since, for some reason, the spinner tub is smaller than the washer tub.
Thank you! Yes absolutely I didn’t edit that in my video since I wasn’t doing that at the time. But yes as I learned throughout the years I like to wash more and I use the spin cycle into sections where it’s not over loading it to spin without knocking side to side since it’s too much weight it can handle anyway. (:
@@neoshazavala Respectfully, I can't believe they can't make the spinner area larger. I bought the RCA 2.0 twice and boy what a mistake that was. Searching for another brand of the big automatic types. Good luck with yours.
Yeah. I moved into my new apartment and got a washer and dryer so I don’t really use this machine anymore. But i will say it did save me a lot of money vs laundry mat lol! Thank you so much for watching(;
@@neoshazavala I'll bet the Chinese want to start us off on these little manual ones, and when we get sick of them we'll buy their automatics....lol! Sadly, no big-name American brands went into the market with their own USA made portables.
Such a helpful video, thanks so much!!!! I feel like I've had an education on how to use one of these things, I was quite confused before. I really appreciate you showing us exactly what you do, lengths of time, rinsing, detergent, your set up etc. Thanks so much!!!
Hey thank you so much!! I appreciate your feedback on letting me know how much this has helped you to! Thank you so much for watching!!(:🙏🏽
I have a washer similar to this and I love it so much. It has so much power and gets the clothes really well for a portable machine 😊
Right these little machines really pack a punch for how much they really can do! Happy to hear you love it to(:
I have one, it I don’t think soft has to do with draining, but the agitation. 🤷🏻♀️
Yes, you’re correct! That was me still learning and I guess at that time that was not correct what I said sorry about that! It does make the agitation softer (:
JUST CAME FROM THE FIRST VIDEO & I THOUGHT THAT WAS INFORMATIONAL 😱😜 THIS WAS A GREAT ADDITION! AMAZING REVIEW! THANKS AGAIN! 3 YEARS LATER❣️💯
Hey just responded to your other comment on my other video, thank you so much again! I truly appreciate your kind words! 🙏🏽❤️
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!! 3 YEARS LATER😜💯❣️ REALLY HELPFUL.... OHH I SEE A PT.2🤔🫣🤗
Hey thank you so much for your kind comments!! I’m so happy I could help you as well🙏🏽☺️
So nice and pretty, but the black eye!? Thanks for the info, just bought this model.
Hey thank you, I hope all works out for you on your end in regards to the machine 😊 It’s a birthmark, just found out a few months ago after getting my skin biopsy it’s not what I thought it was before. It’s a birthmark. Called nevus of ota.
I enjoyed your in depth demo❤
Thank u I liked how u explain everything thank u
Thank you so much🙏🏽
It's not a "soft drain", it is for delicate clothing and just moves slower.
You’re right. Forgot to come back and add that correctly. Thank you.
Update to the update... The washer is working out fine, in fact I'm using it right now. It has saved time and money over the past few months. Later we will be getting a dryer similar to your other video. For my small apartment, the washer has been a godsend. Hoping all is well and best, Stephen
Hey thank you so much, glad to hear everything is working out for you as well! Did you ever get the dryer? If so how’s that going for you as well?(:
That's a good shower head hack. Love you
Hey thank you so much🙏🏽😊
I just fasten a knee-high pantyhose to the end of the drain tube with a nylon hair tie. Catches everything even the tiny lint particles that easily pass through the mushroom. Just take it off ever couple of months and replace.
Yes love this as well, I have multiple others mentioning this same hack thank you for sharing (: 🙏🏽
I bought a lint catcher inside. I also put a sock at the end of hose so lint, dog hair does t go down my drain. Wonder what after I run Out of socks lol
Love it lol, yes I have had some others recommend this idea as well! Thank you for your feedback as well!(:
@@neoshazavala I changed the sock to a $1.25 kids knee tights. That’s better can be cleaned not just tossed out
These machines ate great..I have the Track life brand..but you cant use hot water because it will ruin the motor..it goes for all of there brands...ive got my for over 4 years I use cold ...but not to cold...for whites and color clothing...😊.p.s. I alao place a 1.00 store ni- high panty hose to the Hose so the lints air small dirt balls, etc stays in sock and not in tub drain..😊
Right! Yes I forgot to exit it but I used warm not just fully hot. But I yes the panty hose idea has been recommended often. Thank you for your feedback as well(: I love it
Thank goodness I found your channel-I have this same vacuum and I’ve cleaned the sponge but didn’t remember if the sponge filter was upside down or what? You’ve been. very thorough and I’m saving the video for future use. Thanks- 👍
Thank you so much for your comments! I appreciate it, I’m happy this also could help you to. Thank you for watching!☺️
Soft drain ? Not soft wash or agitation? I never heard of a soft drain ..
Yeah sorry I was new learning the machine and thought I had my facts all correct. This is supposed to be soft agitation not drain.
@@neoshazavala it's all good, I was being silly, 😜. I have this exact, same model now,and I like it. Your video helped settle me on this one, so thank you.
Lol gotcha 😆Thank you so much🙏🏽
Do your clothes get tangled and turn into a ball of knot with this machine? I have a castaway portable washer and it gets tangled
I forgot to mention throughout this video, yes you cannot over load your portable washer because also depending on the size of clothes and what not you have to watch how much you add, since it can lead up to tangling your laundry and stretching out your materials throughout the wash and dry cycle.
You’re awesome
Thank you 🙏🏽☺️
Is your machine still going.
Yes(:
Thanks for the great videos, they were easy to understand and helped me buy one. I recouped the cost of it within six months not having to use the laundromat.
Thank you for watching(: I appreciate hearing your feedback! Such a great experience with saving money this way for sure!
I just order one just like the one you are showing. I didn't see your site until hours later after I ordered and after seeing your review, I am happy for what I ordered. Good Video Ms. Zavala. Thank you. 😊
Hey, thank you so much! I’m happy I could help ya!🙏🏽☺️
thank you...
Thanks for watching!
Can you wash pajamas and jackets?
Depends on the size/materials but yes you can. That’s what I’ve done
thank you SO SO much for this video!!! I'm a visual learner, so i was struggling HARD with the manual until i came across your video! kudos!
Thank you so much!! I’m happy this video helped you as well🙏🏽☺️
You are precious and so detailed. Keep up the good blogging. P.S. Good info on the lent filters in the dryer. I was concerned that the dog hair wouldn't come off my clothes as well as it does with my stackable dryer. No one ever talks about the lent on the clothes. And your right , preventative maintenance , when it comes to cleaning the filters has to be done and helps with the lifespan of the machine. Thank-you
Oh my gosh thank you so much! I truly appreciate your comments🥹🙏🏽 I’m so happy I could also help you as well. Again thank you for your kind words. It really helps me knowing I’ve helped and someone who appreciates my work, so take care love! I’m happy I helped ya, maintaining maintenance is key 😉
