As a retired paramedic I approve this message. 😆
Gorgeous!!😍😍
Thank you!! 😊
I use the cheap paper cups. You can buy them in bulk and it's easier to control the pour with them than plastic cups.
Good call! But I’m a sucker for these measuring lines. What is your process with the paper ones? I’d love to cut out the plastic!
I one coat for soaking, then 2 more thicker coats for coat. Finished off with a thinner layer and done. They said more than that and it’s not adding anything. I think if you are going to go gloss, might as well go epoxy underneath and mute it with satin. Could also use Rubio mono coat pure c, etc.
Nice one, like many who probably watch this, I've got a blower and have been thinking about it. Looks like itl work well. End of the day, they are quiet and produce good air flow, if it's working then no rush to change for anything else. What wattage is your blower, think mine is 330w. Thanks
Thank you for watching! I really need to do a follow up after all this time. It is 437w.
Great job brotha
Beautiful piece man I’d love one for my kitchen
Thank you sir! A little more sanding, some brass feet, and a lot of oil and this bad boy will be ready to sell!
Interesting video and gives me plenty of ideas when I get around to building out my garage shop. For anybody thinking about duplicating this project: It only makes sense to modify a bounce house blower like this IF you already have a bounce house blower available for free. A new bounce house blower is $200+. The Harbor Freight 1HP dust collector is $170. There are often coupons and sales for 10-25% off of that price. The bag isn't very good (doesn't filter much), but a 1 micron Powertec bag on Amazon is under $25. Going with the HF power unit means you don't have to do anything to modify the flange. For the dust separator, Rockler has a kit to build a 4" Dust Right cyclone for $35. It doesn't come with the lid or the barrel, but it comes with the fittings and plans. If you feel like building it from scratch and trial-and-error through it, then go right ahead and have fun tinkering. But if you are looking for something cheap and quick, there are alternatives.
100% agree. It was a fun experiment with a blower I’ve had in the garage for several years. It was fun to do but far from ideal.
Nice 🙂
I’m digging the gold leaf 🫰 🫰 🫰❤
Nice job,, giving me ideas on how to do mine,,
great video, it's very useful for me. I have a bounce house blower and plan to DIY dust collection system too.
All things considered, it works quite well. It’s also set up to work with a store bought dust collector with no change to the existing system.
Should have more views, cracking video mate!
Thank you! Any day the views will come rolling in! 😂

The Golden Gate Quartet - God’s gonna cut ‘em down
Hell yeah dude that looks AWESOME
😂
Dude almost 2.5K views on this! Nice!!
Song choice on point 👍🏻
I came across this video while I was searching for a way to recover refrigerant from the HVAC unit. I assume KZread knew at one point I was focused on finding a way to build my own dust collection system. Not bad video, I actually have the exact same blower from a inflatable that I found on the side of the road and also I have the exact same dust collector accessory kit from Harbor freight that I purchased on marketplace a little while back and I’ve been trying to figure out a way to use it. I might have to give this a shot I’ll let you know how it goes until then you got a new subscriber. Ready for part 3.
Hey thanks! KZread is good at that sort of thing haha. The real test will be how much suction I’ll get at the table saw in part 3. Even if it isn’t great, this is a good stop gap until I get a real system. Thanks so much for watching!
This is so pretty
Thank you! 😊
