This channel combines two of my passions... Photography/Videography and Adventure Bike Riding. My first career was in film and television and I spent 10 years being trained in camerawork, sound and editing. While I changed careers after that, I never lost the passion to produce videos. Photography also became a creative outlet for me, everything from Landscape photography, night photography and light painting. When I got into adventure motorbike riding, this proved a great opportunity to combine my creative passion with my spirit of exploration. I'm going to be sharing video production techniques and some of the videos that I produce on this channel.

One of the best videos explaining the problem -GoPro should cite this in their Labs page. There is also a command (HIST=1) to enable Histogram overlay, which should also help. Reducing noise reduction (NR01=50) should also be better if your aim is cinematic (better to do NR in post, I use DaVinci Resolve). If you do a follow-up working with LOGB settings and LUTs, that will set the standard. Thumbs up to the GoPro Labs team - can't wait for this to be baked into the UI at some point.
OMG this is absolutely fucking amazinggggggggggggggggggggggggg bro
Once again another great video. I am planning a trip along the Murray river and am wondering how many of the areas and tracks are closed. I have downloaded all your gpx files of the trip and studied them. I am wanting to ride all the tracks I can with as little main roads as possible. Parks Victoria don’t give much detail on what’s open or closed. Any advice would be appreciated.
iso and shutter speed did not display on hero 9 black
would it still be activated?
Luar biasa anda mengunjungi tempat2 indah di dunia dengan mengendarai motor 👍👍
woah... this is fantastic... one day :)
Thank you Brent. As always, you do an exceptional job showcasing your adventures
Hi Brent, what navigation system do you run on the bike?
This is incredible ! Hope your friend fully recovered now.
Great video. Is your backpack the Klim Nac Pak with Shape Shift 3L Hydrapak?
insane footage! What a landscape and what a journey!
well that's now going into my bucket list...
Spectacular.
Brent Thank you so much for your in depth tutorial for off road planning and navigation. I am inspired to do some of your trips in NSW and the Flinders Ranges. I have decided to buy a DRz400 and follow some of your tracks.Your experience and generosity in sharing information is very much appreciated.I will send you a photo or two of my first trip.
WOW!
The lyrical photography and narration is marred by the soundtrack with its unbearable drum machine noise.
Well done - well shot and edited. Most of all it was authentic and engaging, the rarest skill in social media.
Surprising that there’s ‘no’ wild game in Iceland, at least not shown within this fantastic video. Looks like great environment for … Red Stag, Sika, Sambar, Mtn Goats and Sheep.
Why ride without gloves? Beautiful scenery.
I only ride without gloves when I’m flying my drone. It’s so I can quickly adjust drone controls on my tankbag.
Thanks cobba
fantastic, thank you
That was a bloody awesome watch, loved it. What was the problem with ktm?
Timing chain jumped a cog and the timing was out big time.
This is the most picturesque off-roading motorcycle ride I have ever seen in my life. No race with anyone, No rush, only pure and fair ride.
What an amazing ride. Stunning. Thanks for sharing your experience 🤙
It pays to plan ahead in treacherous country , but much more entertaining to watch - good one.
amazing scenary
Hi I want to try touring with excf, but I was afraid about the maintenance. How you maintain your bike in your journey?
The guys can do oil changes on the road quick and easily. That is about the only thing that needs to be done on longer rides.
@@brentbat thanks for your reply
I have a rottweiler fuel dongle in my 2021 701 sm,the jerky throttle is no more,runs richer,cooler.😍
So elegant execution. Just spectacular. Without a doubt, this is the best motovlog I have seen. 👍🏻🗿
What is the minimum number of people to tour Iceland?
Ask the tour operator. I’m just a patron.
@@brentbat I'm sorry. And thank you for the explanation
Wow!!!
As always bloody brilliant Brent, thank you for sharing and how handy was it that KTM living up to its reputation and creating a support vehicle, commiserations to Nick but so good he took on that job instead of just packing up and heading home.
We also shared bikes, so Nick got at least 6 rides in.
Amazing views.. it seems September could be the right month to look up for this trip ? Or one can think of in December too ?
No. Sept is latest. Prob June to Sept.
@@brentbat thanks
Imagine being so pretentious that you start a video by insulting the country you're visiting and expect viewers to want to watch what you have to share.
May I ask what camera you used for this trip?
Main action can was a GoPro 11
ktm 450?
I was on a 350 but there were 450s too.
how are you getting those drone shots while driving?
Autonomous drone that I can control from my tank bag.
@@brentbat thanks! Appreciate it! Great vid btw
Amazing Brent. Love your work. Just got back myself riding station roads in Nymagee, Cobar etc, my group got 5 punctures. 3 from fencing nails and 2 from a spoke poking past the rim protection rubber. The Skydio is amazing. I use DJI and hit lots of trees and bushes. Thanks!
I almost didn’t go! I made it to Adelaide and was ready to head back to Sydney. I rented a Honda CB300R, a little naked bike, not at all set up for dirt, but then I remembered your comments and thought what the heck, why not, so glad I did. I went up through Hawker, I camped at the G’day campgrounds I think at Merna Mora Station. I rode that Moralana scenic track and several gorge tracks, but I saw the place where you made a video on the track you have to make reservations, Flying Something, I actually went into the office to say hello, I told them they were famous and they brought up your name. They were great! The Flinders was truly one of the great highlights of my trip. I am making KZread videos of my trip, 6 weeks, 6800kms. I just got back to China yesterday. Your videos are just fantastic! Thank you!
I am new to this and have just tried color correcting up to now vs grading but have not been happy with my results. This was very helpful and will be huge as I move forward. What I like is you are shooting in conditions we experience on a motorbike ie clouds, vs SoCal perfect blue sky. Many thanks

Spectacular video! Thank you for sharing it!
Fantastic!
have you uploaded any photos which we can see?
I have mentioned this before but your narration and cinematography is incredible. I need to find a way to ride Australia before they take my keys away. But a pass on 66k of deep sand😬. Hope your mate fully recovered from his off.
Ruthless riders. ❤
The only bad thing about this trip would be not having enough battery to record the whole time.
how did they transport the fuel?
Tank is built into the fire truck.
Unreal
