Wdym? I mean, Jorm wasn't Atreus' SON but he was CREATED by Atreus and Angrboda (Norse Myth actually never says Jorm is literally birthed, just born, or created by Loki and Angrboda). Thor sends Jorm back in time during the battle of Ragnarok in Asgard and the souless snake we see in Ironwood is a young Jorm, the giant soul caused him to grow into what he is currently.

From 2022 after playing God of War 5: Atreus did "create" Yormungandr by putting a giant's soul into the body of a snake who lost its own. Then this snake with giant's soul grew fast into a giant snake. He then joined the battle of Ragnarak and fought Thor. Like Mimir said, the big clash during the battle sent him back in time to soooooo long ago. He lived in the past thereafter and became the World Serpent that people know of.

Now we are at 2022 and the full story of the giant serpent. The giant serpent go back in time went it still young BC thx to Thor he send him back to the beginning before Atreus were born and few years later Atreus get older and then He got himself teleport into the ironwood and he meet the girl also meet her lunatic grandmother but that's went they meet the huge looking snake but it's dead so they put a giant soul into that snake body and reborn itself into the giant serpent. It ran away after that but it's growing went it away and the girl manage to see the giant serpent growing and growing after that and went the war started, all nine realms door has been open and so the younger serpent started to join the fight against the Aesir gods by starting against Thor first but he doesn't manage to defeat him BC Thor send him back in time to beginning and all those many years later the giant serpent grow into giant but don't worry to those who doesn't understand BC here is the actually simple story. There were two snake at the beginning one is older and the other one younger and so the younger version has been teleport into the past bc of Thor and it's waiting for many decades to come for Atreus to be born and meeting once again. Is more like a time loop and stuff.

You don’t need proof. Mythological Loki is the father of Jormungandr. Atreus is Loki. You don’t need a video about this to exist. The tricky part is when you realize that Loki is the mother of Sleipnir. I wonder if GOW will even have Sleipnir, or change some of the myths?

Guys, Kratos thinks it’s “madness” that the world serpent was sent back in time through sheer force. He’s not saying time travel is madness. He’s even said in the story “nothing is written that cannot be unwritten”; clearly referencing his journey in gow2 when he brought the titans to the present to continue the great war. Christ, bunch of twitter users on here misinterpreting shit

that shows how humble and simple he is in his heart. he doesn't make a fuss about his bravery unless he's already in a fight. and he thinks time travel is crazy both because he himself experienced it and also that despite being the god of war he never forgot he is also an old spartan general who thinks everything beyond human abilities is madness. he never lost his humanity, he just had to ignore it so he could cast his vengeance upon the gods.
