    You've done an amazing job of catching on quickly to knitting. I'm so impressed with your ability to do complex patterns! I crochet (my gram taught me when I was a child) and love it so much as it's like therapy for me. I have four sweater projects going on right now and have made bags of afghans that I give to friends or donate to homeless. i look forward to seeing more of your projects!

    Katie I love this podcast idea!! Have been following you for years and I happened to learn crochet just before Christmas so was very happy to see you picking up a yarn craft around the same time!! Would love to learn to knit, but for the moment would crocheters be welcome to your knit-along? So excited to see what you make always! And you’re so fast!!

    I'm from Germany, so we actually learned a lot about WW2 in school because of Mr. A. H. and the NS times... It was a very cruel time but it's part of our country's history and so interesting. Very scary to have something like that happen though... I'm completely with you that it's an important subject to learn about! Love your vlog as always, normally I don't comment but just felt like it today ☺️❤️

    Frustrates me so much that we were taught barely anything about WW2 despite our grandparents generation actually living through it. Also no focus on financial literacy or the political landscape. Leave the gel on and let the nail heal a bit longer. I think filing it or putting acetone on is only going to make it worse and also be increasingly painful.

    I shut my finger in the door before. Very painful. I ended up in an emergency care because it hurt so much in the middle of the night. He stuck a needle through it and it was immediate relief. I would suggest a Dr or nurse look at it because they might be able to pop the blood blister without you losing you r nail.

    I would leave the gel on for as long as you can. I would just let it grow out and trim as it grows. The exact same thing happened to me, I don’t think your bail will be broken in half, but it’s probably damaged. A new nail will grow and eventually the old one will come off. It’s quite grim but it’ll be fine after.

  • @lomset9494
    @lomset949413 күн бұрын

    Katie - I would leave it be, if anything the gel nail is likely to be a stabilising factor. Having a blood blister or bruise will still be visible in a couple of weeks and will be less painful if you want to investigate further. Main thing in the acute phase is icing and pain killers if needed. All in good time to look and see once less painful.
