  for the fuel indicator you need to reset "trip 1", so it calculates your actual use and gives a more accurate prediction of your range.

  How hard is to get the header pipes off as they're a bit awkward to get to w/o swinging the radiator a bit out of the way (is what i think) - I need to get that job done because they're rusted and an eyesore - need to clean it before priming and painting - did you reuse the gaskets ? cheers

  Try SP Engineering,MTC, PipeWerx If you don't want an Akrapovic. All UK companies that make exhausts that you can still use panniers with.

  Please help, after de cat, my bike has a engine code 64, shows air switch valve. OBD ii shows secondary air injection system control A circuit high. I erased code, but come back again. Is it because de cat? Thanks a lot.

  Useful video. Helped me understand the rather simplistic instructions. Especially good idea to block the fuel tank...I would have lost a bolt or two! I found that there is a small rubber washer/grommet ( right rear) that came away....this seems to be a seal for the fuel breather so important it goes back correctly in place. My old bag does not seem to fit as securely as on 2 previous bikes, so I may have to investigate a new smaller one.

  "De cat" => Remove catalytic converter and spew pollutants.. This bike will make more poison than a car. (I own a Ninja 1000 too fwiw)

  I was going to do this, but then I saw the Delkevic full exhaust with 8" carbon fiber can for $575 and bought it. It does not need tuning and is loud. Louder than the Acra on a RSV4, but not as bad as a SC1 on a 1200 Monster, I couldn't hear myself think on that bike. Yours sounds great.

  I have not experienced any throttle snatchiness with my 2020 650XT model in ANY gear. In fact, I have to say that this is the smoothest motorcycle for throttle response that I have ever ridden.
