A trained person who understands fire behavior knows where to apply the garden hose stream. Great job trying to hold the fire to the room of origin... Anyone who has an issue with him using that hose is DELUSIONAL and dosent understand Fire behavior. Great work on his part. l

That's why I hate living in the city. One house fire can set the whole block on fire. I love right where I am hundreds of yards away from any neighbors

Came upon this again. This is beyond stupid. You stop an engine where they put that useless ladder and you deck gun those windows for no more than 10 seconds and that room stops burning. You follow with a 1-3/4" line that isn't 200' long to mop up. What is so hard to understand here? Look how long they allowed that to burn and spread before they went to work and did their job. They, THEY, the FIRE DEPARTTMENT turned a single-family fire into a two-family fire! The video ends and they still don't have this simple fire under control. Utterly useless.

Personally, I wouldn’t be shooting water through the window without knowing what the cause of the fire is - if it’s electrical, you could be electrocuted.

my advice is: if you have time to move ANY vehicles near the burning building, do so, it gives more room for fire fighters to move around and for the incoming fire trucks..

He made an attempt thats what matters that's all you can do in some cases this case putting out a large house fire with a garden hose isn't easy fire hoses put out more water and more pressure than your garden hose.

If you fond yourself in similar circumstances, keep the wsll above the windows as wet ad possible. This will aid in slowing down autoexposure. As demonstrated, there is an insufficient amount of ass in a garden hose yo control this incident.

Depending on how this was filmed, was it in real time or have you edited? It took some time to start spaying water... if you watch this film... kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqCCz8qhlNHHZNI.html (in real time) you will see from when the tender pulls up it only takes 1 minute for them to start spaying an get control of the fire. Plus there is no one getting in the way with a ladder or boat hook.
