Hi there, I watched your video a few times and I am impressed with how well your conversion came out. You seem pretty mechanically inclined so I thought I would take a shot to see if you could help me out with a question I have. This is about my 09 HHR SS. Can you tell me how to adjust the parking brake? I am about to put new rotors and pads on my car and am pretty sure the parking brake will need adjustment after the installation. My car already has rear disc brakes. I can picture the pb lever will go all the way up with all that new slack on the cable. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

It’s funny I’ve had my hhr for over 10 years I just hit 124k and I bought a brand new 2020 grand Cherokee altitude in Dec of 20 but I started driving the hhr back n forth from NY to SC and I’ve been wanting to do something like this for my HHR because it’s been really good to me for all of these years . So now I’m starting to return the favor I’ve fixed a few things and cleaned everything up took the valve cover off replaced gaskets cleaned motor did a tuneup and fluids . I know what I have and I’m getting more comfortable working on it so I’m trying to make it fun to drive now . I was going to buy a 2009 SS before I bought mine but it had a leaking sunroof and the dealership would not put in writing that they would fix it if I bought the car and take responsibility . This was back in 2011 they wanted $13500 and I walked in with cash ready to buy it but. I wasn’t going to deal with a leaking sunroof . So I bought my 2006 LT that had 50k on it at the time for $9000 and it seemed like a lot but almost 13 years later the thing is still running like a champ back and forth to NY to SC every other week and just hit 124k on my last trip up north . This video is def inspiration . Thanks
