This was the best review of the Boston 11 Adizero. Speed, Speed and 10 K runs . I just got a pair. Trying to reconfigure my shoe rotation for summer training .
Is the sole tearing off at 3:49 ? 🤔
Are they comfortable to just walk around in? Like a day at Disneyworld?
Not even really a runner, just wanted a decently light and cushioned shoe I can take on day hikes every now and then and I think these fit the bill pretty well. I do hike on some muddier and more technical bits sometimes so I’m a little concerned about how they do in those conditions, but I’m sure they can’t be any worse than when I would hike in Vans or my Arahi road shoes lol
Challenger 5 took some breaking in but ultimately was perfect for me, running about 1/3 on pavement and 2/3 on unpaved fire roads. Challenger 6 was slightly disappointing, feeling a little clunkier but otherwise fine. The upper wore out more quickly. I wish I loved the Challenger 7 but, unlike with the two previous models, I have heel-slippage that I can't fully get rid of.
Lovely, calm and informative video with 2 fantastic guys. "Eat and Run" was a great read and as seen, Scott is a gentle and wise man, no ego and willing to share his insights. There is nothing to compare with the joy of crossing natural terrain on foot, as shown on their faces and it's a great reminder to those of us who haven't done it in a while to get out there! Cheers from Sydney and thanks - Dave
The tongue was fine for me , but the right shoe took the skin off my right ankle, never had this with any other shoe . Ps i find the firmness ok
That caldera has been calling my name. But i have no trails near meeeeee. Tell me I can use on the road? 😢
How’s the width on these?
Great video, thanks 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Can we use this while running on the grass ground and for road running as well??
I've just purchased my first pair of Catamount 2s, after starting with Hoka Speed Goats, then Brooks Cascadias. I will be doing my first trail run with them this Saturday so your review brought a great deal of relief....I was worried that I had made a bad purchase.
I don't know if I was "saving" this to watch, but I'm glad it came back up on my feed. Amazing that Alan got to run with the GOAT!!! I don't think I'd be able to speak. I've always heard that Scott is super nice, and I hope that was your experience. So freaking awesome!
Could these deal with sections of road on trail
Why you have two different colors? the pair is in that way? one is black on the back portion...
Having bad knees these are very good walking shoe. Excellent ventilation too. If you like to cross shop these are comparable to Hoka 8's. But these come with a carbon plate to boot. An excellent walking shoe.
Just a note for viewers-Stack is 38 not 28
As someone with long dreads I'm wondering what's the beanie you use while running!
👍
Hello, thank you for posting this video on Caldera 6. I have flat feet and looking for the perfect shoe to wear for Camino de Santiago. Would you recommend this shoe for that purpose? I intend to walk for 18 to 20 kms a day for 35-40 days. Thank you.
Since I can only get one, what would be your top choice, this one or the catamount 2?
Same Question
I like my 10, 11 sitting on the shelf to run in til I heal :) Good review.
I just bought the glycerin 20 a few weeks ago and became an instant fan of Brooks glycerin. To many many many more years of Brooks Glycerin making millions of feet including mine happy. Cheers 🥂
I use the 10 as a daily trainer.
I'm a delivery driver that runs all my stops and I just found these for $48. I'm looking forward to trying them out when they arrive.
This company just destroyed a BEAUTIFUL area of Tulsa because of greed. I wish nothing but failure for your greedy nature destroying company!
Anyone got advice on whether Cascadia or Caldera would be best for someone moving to a trail shoe from Andrenalin GTS and prone to injury tendon / arch pain?
I just came to figure out is it waterproof?
No. But that may be a good thing because otherwise it would hold water and be pretty warm.
nb hierro v7, adidas terrex agravic flow or caldera 6?
Why wouldnt you use them a as a daily trainer?
I like the Cascadia better, not as light...but more rugged better!
Wonderful review! My first time to view the channel, enjoyed very much!

By what definition is Scott Jurek a better ultramarathoner than Yiannis Kouros?
looking closely in at the 3:50 mark, did the green outsole lug come off or unglued?
Great review! I like your reviewing style. This shoe has definitely sparked my interest recently. I’ve got a 50km trail race planned for June and I want a lighter, quicker shoe. I’m really starting to lean towards giving these a try. Thank you!
Thank you for your excellent review. Your transition comments (walk and run) are very helpful.
Using C6 for past few months now, well done so far
Great review... He covered all the questions. I'm 50/50 gravel and Street, with some occasional light hiking. So I think these should fit me perfectly. 😅🤞🏾
any good for a walking in the city shoe?
this can be a good daily shoe if they removed the plate and rods, made the lightstrike softer or add more lightstrike pro. It doesnt need to be a tempo shoe its too heavy and the takumi sen is the way better tempo shoe. Its to firm, adidas needs to understand this. Adidas needs a good daily trainer and this can be it, if they made it more comfortable and soft, they have fast shoes.
thats almost exactly what adidas said they are gonna do for the 12. Hope it works!
Stellar review!
Compared with hoka SG 5, Which one do you prefer??
I think hoka is costlier
I keep going back n forth between this and the Cascadia
Great review, I like the side by side with the old model next to it, more of that please
How does it fare with the hoka speedgoat 5?
Thank you REI this feels refreshing and inspiring ❤
Alan got to run the Grand Canyon rim to rim with Diné runner and HOKA athlete Brandon Dugi. Watch their full adventure here! kzread.info/dash/bejne/X6ify6aeg5nQe9I.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE
Thank you for the post ⚘️
Bought the first version the day before running the Smith Rock Ascent. Almost thought there was lateral stability concerns but went on to have an amazing finish but my standards. I’ll buy the second version from that experience alone.
