I remember seeing this episode and Lenny put a trance on me and I knew this is what I wanted to do I went to LA and started a hair metal band got a record deal and toured with bands throughout the 80’s and god has blessed me to save enough money to retire and provide for my family with some songs I wrote and some others I wrote for some good friends of mine like Jani lane of warrant ! Bobby blotzer of ratt ! And Brett Michaels of poison ! And getting ready to do a reunion tour with Motley Crue and some other bands in the fall ! But I always watched the young ones on the tour bus and in the hotels and I still watch them today and my kids watch them now !

When I first saw this episode back in the 80's it blew my mind to see Motorhead playing. I was already a fan, but they got no TV / radio exposure from what I remember, so seeing them on The Young Ones made my day.
