I wish so badly that we went to Anakeesta while we were in Tennessee last fall!! With our Dollywood adventures we just didn't have enough time sadly to cram everything we wanted to do in. But this is near the top of my list for our trip there next time. So cool! Heights make me nervous but the chair lift up is so cool! Tastes of america?! Sign me up! We love the food. Lobster roll looks amazing!!! That rail runner looks so cool!! 2 for the price of 1? Love it. Love the Rosalie cam, too cute!! The treehouse adventure is so fun. The treetop skywalk is so cool. The interactive bird adventure area is so cute for kids. Wow! Hellbender looks really cool too. What beautiful views heading down. Whoa, Astra Lumina looks SO cool!! And of course the tower with those incredible views, wow! What a great spot. Definitely have to get there. Fantastic video!! Very helpful to anyone visiting and love how it was edited.

Oatman is fun. My wife and I retired to Kingman from Indiana four years ago, and we go up to Oatman four or five times a year. If you are on the west side of the Black mountains, in Needles, or Bullhead City, you can reach Oatman on a much easier road. Take Highway 95 North from Needles or South from Bullhead City and turn east on Boundary Cone road...the big spire in the mountains is Boundary Cone. There are wild burros all through the black mountains. We ran into five last night on the way home from Laughlin in Golden Valley...in thecway back home to Kingman. Back road (Shinarump road). Tgere are wild horses in the area as well, and lots of desert bighorn sheep. If you really want to see Bighorn sheep, go to the park in Boulder City, Nevada...there are almost always twenty or thirty eating the grass in the park...overlooking Lake Mead...beautiful place.

Getting off of those lifts always makes me nervous! We thought about coming over here but didn't make it. Good thing bc I don't think we could have afforded it at the time! But man if you go up there you really need to do everything. The United Tastes is a great idea. Haha Addison either did not want to be on camera OR she was nervous going up the lift! I bet that was a lot of footage to sift through with the GoPro on Rosalie! I love how smooth the footage was going down the Hellbender with it strapped to your chest. Did you have to purchase the footage from the camera on the Hellbender? Super cool adventure! I also like that you finally had a video over 10 min!! 🙂

The Phoenix zoo is rated one of the top 10 WORST zoos in the US. I was there last year during Xmas and I can see why. There were speakers all over the zoo with Xmas music blasting. The monkey enclosure even said to keep quiet for the monkeys, but there was a loud speaker next to their enclosure. They also have metal ramp over the lion enclosure that children STOMP over and it is so loud you can hear it from far away. What a terrible way to treat locked up animals. This zoo needs new management who actually care about the animals and not lining their pockets with money.

Thanks for introducing us to Pablo Escobear. I kind of feel bad for the bear. His curiosity got him in trouble once bags of drugs fell from the sky for him to find - then they make a movie about him where they tarnish his reputation by making it look like he went on a rampage. LOL. This is a great roadside attraction - and an interesting way to spend Father's Day. Thanks for taking us along!

We love Anakeesta so much! But we took the Ridge Rambler cause I am not doing a chair lift up a mountain. I am so glad your family got to experience this. There really is a lot to do there. We haven't been for a new years so the new attractions (AstraLumina, BirdVenture and Hellbender) didn't exist yet. We need to go back sometime. Thanks for sharing your visit to Anakeesta with us!

That looks like a fun place. The last time I was in that area was 2014. I don’t think this existed then. We used to go to the area all the time when I was growing up. That is a little disappointing you have to pay even more for the mountain coasters. Great video overall. You are an excellent editor; that’s one of the things I find most difficult. Anyway, looks like you all had a good time

Look at you guys and your outdoor adventures!! See, no big deal! Soon you'll be doing backpacking trips!! ;-) Great story idea to find the fish and tie it all together. But did you REALLY get the shot of the fish at the end? Hmmmm? :-) The Pigeon River is so pretty and scenic. Its beautiful going through Pigeon Forge. There is a Buccee's at an exit of Sevierville as well so you probably passed two of them. Great River Cruise!!

  • @SantosChronicles

No hiking on this trip - way too many bears. That Fish shot has a story. I had a goal of getting all this fish shot and it would look great on a lazy river montage. After going through 30 min of footage (tried 6-7 times), I finally found it on try number 6 or 7. And that's how that story line came along. We did make it to a Buccee's and was surprised how busy it was.
