I’ve never been to San Diego. I’ve heard it used to be one of the best cities to live and visit in America. I would love to visit the zoo there.

My sister would agree with that statement. But it is also pretty expensive to live in that area. The Zoo is great and huge!

The place is so big you need a sky tram to go from one side to the other. Crazy that this was where the first KZread video was filmed.

I didn't read the book but I watched all the movies. Figured I have never told that story and this was the best time to do it.

I have never heard of Capybaras until this trip. I know I have seen them before, just didn't kow their names. Those baboons are so scary. Glad you enjoyed a quick youtube recap of our channel.

Meerkats are hilarious! Wow, packed a lot of history in here! Loved the logo explanation. Oh my word that Chroni-what-cles of Narnia was the most freeking hilarious thing at the time. I still quote that from time to time. Any time we go to the movies, Mr. Pibb and Red Vines = crazy delicious! Love the re-creation. We get to see how ahead of our time we would have ben if we had done what we do now back then! We'd have been retired a long time ago by now!!

Trying to get the videos to be a little bit more than just Carl and Family goes here. If a guy can make subway sandwiches and tell stories - why can't I do that while traveling. Just experimenting with different formats. I think we are aging ourselves. Crazy Delicious! That guy won big since he sold to Google!

Loosing teeth 🦷 everywhere! Love getting a ride, especially after Universal! So funny to go back and see your first video! Monkeys in the wild I’m sure are much different! Crazy how far KZread has come!

She was so sad it took so long for her first tooth to fall. Now they are falling like dominos. She might be missing her 2 front teeth. It was surreal to be at the first place a KZread video was filmed. Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day!

LOL I remember that first youtube video ever.. I've never been to San Diego Zoo before also. Plenty of animals for little Rosalie! LOL loved the old school videos too! Melissa has come a long way. She use to be so nervous and embarrassed when we started. This is easily one of the best zoos we have been to.

I haven’t been here since High School. Glad I was able to bring the family here the first time. Crazy it is the first place that had a KZread video.

The bus ride is a great way to tour the zoo! The zoo looks so nice. Baboons are unpredictable. I wouldn't want to be too near them either. I saw moneys for the first time last year (in the wild) and I kept my distance. I don't trust them at all, lol. Thanks for sharing all the interesting facts about your name and logo!

Best part is that the bus ride and other rides are included in the admission price. In Africa, they learned that if they steel passports, humans will trade for better things. Glad you enjoyed our channel recap.

We visited the San Diego zoo a while back, definitely a fun time. Wow 4k animals 😮 yes the first KZread video that was a whole 19 seconds 😂 always down for guided tour! It was so fun to be at the filming location of the first KZread video. It's what started this whole madness. San Diego Zoo was way bigger than I remember it when I was a kid. This was the rest of the family's first time.

I learning the history of your channel and the logo! And all this KZread history! 😮 I had no idea- your recreation about the first KZread video was very well done! 😂

It was fun re-introducing our channel on this video. I have had this on the top of my list since it is literally where all this KZread craziness started. I don't think I would do well as an actor - but it was a fun attempt. There was like 20 takes.

We love that zoo! We haven’t been since 2019. That’s gonna be our next membership! But I still can’t believe y’all had enough energy after everything we did before that! I had no idea about the jeepney of your logo!!! My mind is blown!! 🤯 and I love that you recreated the first ever KZread video. It’s crazy to think KZread was only created in 2005!!!

Can't believe you haven't made it there yet since you moved. The place is so huge. We only stayed for 4 hours because we were exhausted by that point. And then we still had Vegas after this. Almost all the social media was around the same time - FB, KZread, Instagram. Kids can't believe there was a world without those platforms.

I couldn't believe how big it was. We'll have to see the other 2/3 when we return to visit my sister. My wife was done after 4 hours since she ran a half marathon. But we all still had a great time. Thank you for always taking the time to watch our videos.

So many good tips. We have this zoo on our radar for next Spring. However, I am not good at making zoo videos. I have so much zoo footage never used. Your shots are so good. Animals seem to be more active when you guys are at a zoo. And I see you still have your animal phobia if youre having nightmares Ha Ha

You guys will love it, it is huge. And I like how the transportation is included. Zoos and Museums are tough. Usually if I get stuck, I do the doodle strategy of a list. Been playing around with different formats. My family and KZread likes zoo videos - so I take one for the team - but the birds I draw the line. Too close for comfort.

Love that they recreate so well the natural habitat! That's very important for those animals. 650 species it's a lot! Wonderful! The camel reminds me of my trip to Jordan and Petra! Good old days! Aww remaking your first KZread video, amazing idea! Call me weird but I would love a Mirkat as a pet :) Rosalie is losing her milk teeth! :) No way Skyfary! How amazing is that! Oh now I get it, you are remaking the absolute first video on KZread, not your first video! I never thought to see the first youtube video! We have been trying to go to zoos on trips we go to. Plus the kids usually really like it. Crazy the first KZread video wasn't that long ago. That guy made a lot of money when he sold to Google. I told Melissa about your comment and it made her day! Have a great weekend Mihaela!
