  Is this only good for IP Cameras? Is it different if I have Analog Camera? Currently using an Amcrest DVR, I have downloaded the app to my phone. I am able to access the cameras through the app when I am connected to my home network. But once I leave my local network, I cannot and roam or use a work network, I cannot connect.

  Thanks for sharing the videos .This tutorial is so detailed and easy to follow. And i've couple of Question . I did install hikvision IP cameras in some remote area and now i need to access it remotely to monitor from other location and setup and configured hikconnect unfortunately i encountered very low signal in the area to have a live feed from other location and i need proffessional help to fix the issue . what are my options ? Thanks.

  Great Video to show everyone how to Expose their camera to the Internet.. This is VERY VERY BAD!!!!! Buy a good Camera and stop exposing yourself to the Internet.. There are so many people out there with Exposed cameras that CRAZY people can TROLL.. Use serveo or NGROK for a tunnel to your DVR/NVR or IP Camera if your system don't already have access to P2P.. There are 52K plus exposed RTSP feeds on the Internet because someone gave bad Advice about port forwarding cameras to the INTERNET.. Bad Practice... With NGROK or ServeO I can also give access to a camera that is on my network that I have told my Router not to expose to the internet because it is a Secure Tunnel and there is no way anyone without me giving them my info could gain access too. People Be Smart, 1 Buy good Hardware that is Secure *Not all Cheap cameras are bad* Loads of them are.. Also important. CHANGE PASSWORDS to something better then what it comes setup as.

  Hello, I spent all day today researching the internet for information on how to fix an issue I encountered when I received a new modem-unable to view my surveillance cameras remotely. There is a lot of information, but your video finally helped me connect the dots and realize I needed to configure my new modem and add port forwarding settings for my cameras.   Omg it worked super password v2 I've been trying 2 get into a locked dvr for the last 2 weeks I even called the company which said it is a commercial dvr not to be sold to the public so we can't give you master reset password I bought it as my backup off ebay they had it listed as new 4yrs ago well dummy me didn't test it I left it in box until I needed it as my backup dvr cuz my main dvr went out Thank you so much

  I have the 3k 5mp lite h.265. Why do images like cars and people move like robots ? Looks like 5 or 10 fps. What would be an upgraded unit that doesn't have the robotic look on display/record?

  I can't just connect my ZOSI DVR (ZOSI 3K 5MP Lite H.265) directly to my laptop? This makes the unit unusable for me, why don't they tell us that when they sell this to us......I don't want to REGISTER ANYTHING, nor have the lag/latency, and or cloud interface. Just want simple, hook up to laptop, done.......
