I would like to bring our boat down from Willamette valley of Oregon but there are so many stories of loosing props and fins, etc. , maybe a gps program would keep this from happening - would be longer of a season if no event happens though, the beauty would be sweet :)

Great video. Thank you! Which model SC board are you riding? The link in the description just took me to the SC website, but it's not a certain board.

I am riding a model that I am designing with them. It will be out this summer!

Thanks for this video! When I ollie, I pick up almost too much speed. Is there a way to take advantage of this or avoid this? Also, can you do a video on boards? Lastly, what fin configuration should I be learning 360's on? Thanks again
@DylanAyala7 күн бұрын
Try to just slow everything down. The fin configuration doesn’t matter as much as form does. I ride twin fin!

Great tips! For the beginners who had time controlling the board, where should you look - the waive, the corner of the boat, etc. not to lose the proper alignment?

is it lethal weapon board at 0:30? what size of this board are you riding for your weight? thanks a lot for your videos!

Will try that!

your video is great. I'm getting frustrated with how hard it is to find the sweet spot in the wave. After a summer of surfing, I can usually drop the rope but I can't move much or I lose the sweet spot. I have what appears to be a fairly large wave. I'm at the top end of the weight limit of a phase 5 phantom 53. Is it possible that the board is just too small? The wave has a ton of push, it'll push me right into the back of the boat no problem. Any thoughts? I'm 6' tall, 180.

I’ve been in the ocean surfing for 20 years and carry that style into my wake surfing and want to continue to imorove my airs, Ollies and 360s. 4:46

What Soulcraft board are you riding, Superfly?
@DylanAyala3 ай бұрын
This is the lethal weapon! I am working on my own model with soulcraft that will be releasing this summer. I just spent the last 5 days at the factory in Oceanside. I was blown away at everything that goes into building the boards and the passion behind each step. If you are ever in oceanside, you should check it out!

Yes. I have an early version of the Da Honu. I'll keep an eye out for your version. Reason I was asking is Jeff said the Superfly is made for spinning.

I appreciate your videos and tips. While I don’t struggle with turning (for the most part), I seem to struggle the most with keeping my forward momentum. I’ll typically fall out the back of the wave because I come down out into the flat too much. It sounds like I need to work on spinning my head and torso at the same speed and spotting the boat better. Hope to be as smooth as you one day, even though I’m 35. lol
@DylanAyala3 ай бұрын
Thats awesome, you got it. Yeah try to keep your upper body more up right and like you said keep everything rotating at same speed. It sounds like you are rushing the actual 360.
