Hi Kev, I have to say, I've been binging all the practice interview videos of yours and the amount of benefit I've gained is unreal. I'm from the UK and the job market here is slightly different, I've been looking at both Apprenticeships and entry level Helpdesk roles. After doing the labs and updating my resume, creating a GitHub with all my projects so I can directly show them to employers, I've been gaining confidence and a bit hope that maybe it is possible to actually get a job, even in this horrific job market (especially in UK). I've just signed up to a company's networking event to speak with hiring managers about the job vacancies, and I'll be sure to bring my A game. It's really tough but I have to say, you and others have helped me come out of a really dark place, thinking I've failed, to now having some hope that I'm getting somewhere. Got my A+ Core 1 exam booked later this month, I'm hoping within 2024 I'll finally find a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for your amazing channel and informative content.

For all the ladies and gentlemen out there that are looking to get into IT. Kevin can give you all this information in the world but if you're not willing to put in some work of your own off hours to learn. As you can see Kevin stresses this In a lot of his Videos. But if you're not willing to do the work he says waste his breath. Just remember everybody can do this job especially in today's world. You just have to get started with the basics. And then it all stems from there period you can go anywhere you want as long as you learn a basics first. Never give up.

I am newly A+ certified and I also have the Google IT support. I had an interview last week for an MSP working in the public school system. The job is willing to train new inexperienced people. Getting that first job is very important and will lead to greater things if you persevere and have purpose, the purpose to learn, grow, and move on to something better. I feel that when you stick things out, there are hard and challenging, you really do grow as an individual. Thanks for the great content !!

I would also recommend working at a technology school if you can find the opportunity. I started my career in an IT Certification focused school and learned a lot trying to fix things students broke. You also get a great view of different things just like you can see at an MSP since you're looking at multiple different environments under one building. I found it incredibly helpful, especially early in my career. (You can also get discounted school offerings in some cases, and you can also get some help with Financial Aide as well)
