The honey bunny momma made pattern is the one I use. I agree that the one from her book looks like a mouse (and I us that pattern TO make mice lol)

Loved hearing what you had to say! I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, cows, and 6 pigs! And I mostly crochet animals but also do clothes! 😊 I'm 22 and been crocheting for about 5 to 6 years consistently. My mom taught me the basics with blankets when I was much younger, but I didn't get into until I saw an animal. Also, I'm a homebody as well. 😂 Nothing wrong with that!

These days im a stay at home dog mom and wife. I have a pup, she'll be 4 this year:) i got her the same year i decided to quit my job. Shes Boston frenchie mix, super hyper, shes a sweetie to my husband and me only lol unfortunately she's not so friendly to everyone else. She's my baby tho lol with my new found freedom at home i started a several hobbies, paper crafts, painting and a few others. Until i saw my niece post a photo of a hexicardi she made, it sparkled my interest. I crocheted hats, my very own hexicardi, and other wearables lol then quickly switched to more adorable makes. Now i only crochet amigurumi. Been selling for well over a year now:) just taking it easy and enjoying the journey:)

I learnt when I was 12, my nan taught me how to make an infinity granny square blanket. Then, when I had my babies, I learnt how to make different types of blankets, beanies, and booties. Then, while I was a stay at home mom, I taught myself about every stitch, how to do them, and how to read any pattern. Now, I do a bit of everything and can follow any patterns. It's been 25 years crocheting for me, and I have loved every single stitch. I just bought The Mama made Minis book and ordered about 15 skeins of blanket yarn. When it arrives, I'm going to go through and make one of each for my markets. I'm going to make Maeve the Mouse today! Can't wait. I love watching your videos, you are very calming and relaxing to listen too ❤ ps. Your pooch has a face I want to smooch 😘 he is super cute!

Awesome! Do you sell your work? I thought about putting them in but a lot of people were saying if you sell your animals you should not stuff with scraps because it looks unprofessional, which I agree with but also love the sustainability aspect of it…. So I’m torn!

The bulb in your lamp may need tightening, which could be the reason it fickers or turns on and off.

Yes of course! Most of my lovies/ snugglers are by mama made minis. You can search for her website and she is also on Etsy. She also sells a book- I got mine on her website but it’s also sold on Amazon! She does different sizes- I do most of my lovies in the tiny or little size! Hope that helps! :)

Thanks for the tip! I have embroidered regular and sleepy in the past but I find that it takes a long time, so for now I do not have embroidered as an option on my Etsy. I need more practice at doing it quickly! 😅

You know, if the pattern says start with chains, but you can do it in magic ring... you can still do it with a magic ring 🤨
I have heard this but not sure how… I guess you just look at the number of chains they do and do that same number in a MR? I thought there was a formula for it or something lol 😂
@LindseysLovies oh the number of chains doesn't really matter, I've seen people start anywhere between 2 and 6, it's just personal preference. So if the pattern starts with chain 4 then connect the circle, the next row is where you would start if you made a magic ring instead. But for granny squares or things like that, I would suggest using the chains anyway because you want the circle bigger, or your square gets floppy/wavy looking

Hi! Focus on natural light and maybe adjust your whites. I’m in the same boat with trying to figure out pictures. Focusing on the whites and lighting has helped.

Same girl. I pin the head down and it looks great and halfway sewing it gets a tilt. I’m going to try knitting needles on my next project to see if that works 🤞🏾 my biggest struggle though is blush. I can never get it to look even.
I’m glad I’m not alone but not glad you are having that problem!! It might have something to do with the way we are sewing or our tension…. I need to look in to it more!

Oh sorry I assumed you were asking about the purple lovey! I did put the safety eyes in the cat with the backs- but it wasn’t a good shot so I edited it out. I have seen some people glue them before but have never tried it myself!
@@LindseysLovies oh thank you! I’ve seen people glue them too I’ve done it a few times with a hot glue gun and a few times with a tacky craft glue. I find it hard to position the eyes with the backings on lol I’m getting better at doing embroidery eyes thankfully! Haha. Ok thank you for the info :-) have a fun holiday!’
as@saraandsybilhandmade says and using a thicker needle will help you too. You always has to make sure needle and feet matches the fabric :)

When I chain I go up a hook size. Then I have room to crochet into that stitch (using regular hook)

Good for you trying something new with the sewing machine but personally I wouldn’t put out the imperfect items as it reflects on your business. I think anyway lol
I didn’t really think about that perspective! That’s a good point. I offered up some of my beginner crochet items at a market and basically sold out of them, so I thought people might like to have them at a lower price but maybe I will donate them instead! ☺️
