The blanket is looking good! Love your color scheme:) when first started crochet, i was doing wearables using wt. 4 yarn... and yes it does a number on the wrists and fingers. When i started doing amigurumi using bigger more plushie yarn, my hands were thanking me! I do not experience pain compared to when i use thinner yarn. I love the mindlessness of doing a blanket too:) i made a queen size using blanket yarn😮 its so so soft and comfy and kinda heavy (which i love). but i have to take it to the commercial wash, i will not spin properly in my washing machine...wayy too heavy when wet. Its always somethinglol keep it up lady!

Hello! I am enjoying your channel. I also have an Etsy shop that has POD items in it. I am currently crocheting an inventory and figuring out photography, so i feel like we have alot in common😊. I just bought the velvet yarn myself as well, a few tips for you. 1). Burn the end with a lighter before you start, it really helps. 2). Use a tight tension and a simple stitch. Reference Cameryn's Cute Creations - she has a video specifically on working with velvet yarn. Good luck!

Hi Kelli!! That’s awesome, I love to meet other people that I have a lot in common with! Great tips- I have tried burning the end and it’s great until you have to sew with a burnt end, it’s hard to get through my needle. And the tight tension- I hadn’t thought about that!! I will have to do my next one tight- I can see how it would look nice and uniform. Love Camryn’s videos! I’ll have to check that one out. :)

Hi there, I’m so excited you’re here!! Thank you! 😍 It’s from Easy Clothes USA. It was my first time ordering from them- half of the order was missing but their customer service was awesome and fixed it asap. Also shipping was super fast! I would recommend them! 🥰

I have returned yarn I’ve used to Michael’s before. The yarn was just terrible to work with. I returned the used skein with label and they gave me a full refund no questions asked
