Why didn't the Paris Olympics allow trans athletes in swimming while they allowed TEAM USA to be all lesbians? The Olympics, NBC, and all of the fans in Europe get it. The people running Team USA don't. The man that was released for Griner was a major criminal. I like her, but I would not have traded her for him. He is one of Putin's favorite thugs. So you kept her on the team, was injured, and played one game before the team roster was put out, and you think this was a smart decision. You have the 2nd leading scorer in the league, turning down her offer for decisions like that. I doubt Team USA mgmt looked to see how many crimes in the world were linked to this man. Viktor Bout was a gun running terrorist in the east of Africa. The young star was from Nigeria. Liz Cambage was just given a permanent ban from the Australian team for calling the Nigerian team monkeys. Liz herself is half Nigerian. Ogunbowale's family is from the Nigerian area. There is a bigger issue at work here, and Team USA ignored it for favoritism to Griner. WOW. What a slap in the face to any woman in the league that is from that area.
