Baldr in english is Belday (shining day). Maybe Hothr the blind is the night who kills the day and Vali is the dawn (born early) who kills the night. Mistletoe berries are round and white like the moon. The moon is thrust into the day-sky like a spear. Sometimes the moon is sharpened (crescent moon.) Baldr's burning ship floating on the sea on his journey to hell could be the sun on its journey to the underworld. Baldr is the bloody god. There is red sky at night.

Isaiah55:6&7,"Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon." Repent, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior today. This is God's invitation for redemption, Jesus loves you so much and he is the only WAY to eternity.God bless you

Vaush is scared that rain dances lead to genocide, does he realize that until it was banned, science was leading to genocides? Unit 713 for example. Do not research it unless you have a strong stomach. Don't watch the movie about it even if you do have a strong stomach.

I dont think Eric Murphy actually wants to know what is true. It seems more, to me anyway, that he wants to prevent himself from believing what is false and is so aggressive in that pursuit that he wont accept that other people have experiences he will simply attribute as made up by the mind, but the reality is he's arguing from ignorance. When it comes to the gods, Eric Murphy seems like the type of person to refuse to drink a clear liquid because it might not be water and he'll attack anyone for claiming it is water in a time before our ability to scientifically test if it truly is water.

This is a weak and sorta ridiculous argument. C doesn’t even follow from the 1 and 2 premises. And there are serious problems with those premises to begin with.

Ok so about like this thing of the Christian god of three and him sending people to hell, are we sure that all the more abusive shit he’s said to so aren’t just scare tactics that Early Christians used when clutching at straws about eternal punishment? Because even looking at the text it doesn’t really make sense that guy would send people to eternal damnation for unbelief

Here’s my attempt at a Christian response as requested: “And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭8‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭KJV Jesus is God. Jesus says that he is intentionally confusing people with parables so they don’t understand. The Bible is the word of God. Therefore it’s possible that the Bible contains passages designed not to be understood by certain people, since God has shown that he will intentionally confuse people with parables.

This is an argument against Sola Scriptura (Protestantism). Not Catholicism. We believe that God does not want everyone to - on their own - to come to all knowledge about God. Therfore the Magisterium is necessary.

FOLKISM traditionally was a western reference to a closed spiritual or religious tradition that’s exclusive only to its native people to practice. There’s nothing wrong with native preservationists keeping their spiritual practice from being commercially farmed out to everyone whether these preservationists are african hoodoo or norse heathenry. TRIBAL is essentially a tradition where one would have to be initiated or invited into it by its native practitioners. UNIVERSAL traditions are a version of a religion or spiritual tradition open to all regardless of ethnicity, etc. Universal Asatru is one example available for anyone outside of northern european ancestry. I believe Hindu & Buddhism is the same (assuming some sects are probably folkish).

have you already made a video addressing the transcendental argument for god I have only recently come across it & apparently it is Jay Dyer's favorite Jay Dyer claims that it fits the trinity the best & that all other gods are unable to fit the bill he is not very good at explaining why according to what I found googling the TAG is dependent on logic & moral code but Jay Dyer has a list of transcendentals that go beyond that as far as logic goes Aristotle (a polytheist) was the first to propose a set of rules for logic but there are now several kinds of logic & there are many widely divergent moral codes so the way I see it TAG doesn't suit monotheism very well he also mentions Platonism but I am not sure I understand how he is applying that what I find the most interesting is that all of these arguments stem from Greek polytheists & monotheists just try to adapt it accordingly

Kind of confusing to me why all these people spend this time on the internet bickering when they could be out in nature getting acquainted with the nature spirits and growing spiritually rather than seeking out labels or reasons to condemn each other just an observation... and as for your final point if I have to be part of a community of people who bicker and label each other every time that somebody loses a popularity contest if they try to tear down other creators who are trying to build up and reconstruct your ancestors form of worship of the Gods of their ancestors however they may view that I'd rather stand alone because you're stronger alone been with a crowd of backstabbers and false Kinsman A House Divided cannot stand... it is important to understand that while all Vikings were from the north not all northmen are Vikings

while I was still a christian & in high school I took a church history class taught by a hard Calvinist needless to say the teacher had a dim view of Pelagius & "heretics" in general the teacher actually compared Pelagius to Arminius who opposed Calvin centuries later what I find interesting is that Origen came to a universalist position & lived somewhat earlier than Pelagius there were 4 things that saved me from christianity doubts, dispensationalism, young Earth creationism, Bob Jones University it was a slightly complicated process & a rough path but I was able to find my way out

For those that have a fervent belief that Heathenry is, in fact, a race based religion and you call yourself Folkish/Völkish. You must understand that Völkish, or Folkish, is not Heathenry. The practice of Norse Paganism has existed far before beliefs like Folkish. Folkish was, and is, a set of ideologies that was made to give Germany a sense of national identity. This national identity was based in antisemitism, racial superiorty and agrarianism. Völkish writers like Guido von List and Richard Wagner took Germanic and Norse beliefs and twisted them to fit their ideologies. Völkish was in part the basis for the NSDAPs ideologies. No matter what the AFA says Völkish is not Heathenry. You are not a true pagan if you follow the AFA. Germanic beliefs are cultural in nature, Völkish is not. If you are Völkish, just know that you are not and never will be a pagan, when part of your beliefs draws inspiration from Christianity. You are just co-opting symbols and beliefs to push your belief in race based supremacy. You are not a practitioner of Heathenry. You are not a pagan. You are only a racist. You are not a true pagan when your beliefs are based on appropriated and distorted historical and religious symbols, all for the purpose of politics. Your beliefs are not based in what we know our ancestors believed, your beliefs are, again, based on distortions of ancestural heritage. If you wish to believe in an ahistorical distortion of Paganism, you are free to do so, but know that your version is not and never will be the true form of Paganism.

If you think Christian mythology is boring, you should head over to "ESOTERICA" - fantastic KZread Channel that is mainly about christian and jewish mythology, magic and esotericism (Dr. Sledge is a jew, though his work is scholarly and descriptive). It's WILD, to say the least! I haven't been here for a while, so hats off to you Ocean Keltoi, that you're still doing your polytheist thing. I'm an atheist myself, but for some reason (that I dont understand myself), I'm absolutely fascinated by kind of theology/philosophy.

I think this logic is pretty flawed tbh. All you have to posit is that God could have sufficient moral reason to allow himself to be misunderstood. Jonathan Edwards talks about the duality of God's wills. That just because he wills something to happen (meaning he desires it to happen), that doesn't mean he uses his will in order to make it happen. It's well established in Christianity and the Bible that God is often disappointed by the chooses of people.

The best thing about this video was listening to Stephen McNallen. He’s right and Ocean Keltoi is wrong. This guy is milquetoast at best, but in reality, he’s more of a subverter. He’s demonstrating, in this video, his universalizing of our ethnic religion. He’s essentially a Christian intellectualizing ad nauseum, endless words but no significance. Again, ours is an ethnic religion, it is NOT for everyone, AND it is nothing we should apologize about nor should we not take racial pride. I’m unfollowing this clown and you should too.

I know this is late coming. But in response to the request at the beginning... I am ex-christian (ex-mormon to be exact), and am drawn to Родновери (Rodnoveri), or Slavic Paganism. If anyone knows good resources, I'm all ears. Can be in english, russian, or ukrainian. But i love Ocean's discussions, because they give so much insight into the mindset of paganism in general. It helps immensely.

Well...mormons resolved this problem by deciding to do proxy baptisms for everyone (in a very systematic way) to give those who died without knowledge a chance to accept or reject the ordinances done on their behalf. They believe the christian god has given the go-ahead for those who accept to enter heaven. The logic works, i guess. I mean, it allows for grace and for personal choice. But it still breaks down because after a while we just don't have records of people when we go back far enough. No idea what mormons are going to do when they run out of written records before getting every human ancestor. Not saying i find the christian need for saving very palatable. 🤷

The pagan gods are not Gods with a capital G, none posses the omni traits. I think they can die because they are super human, but most still obey certain laws or requirements. Odin cannot defeat fate, cannot avoid Ragnarok. If they were "G"ods then there would be no twilight for them. This is why I feel such a strong connection to paganism and not Christianity, the gods are human in thought and mannerism, just with super powers. I look at God and I think that's some Lovecraft shit, I look at Loki and think that's literally me fr fr.
