  I know, right? I was very thrilled to hear the Princeton 3 chime again! Don’t get me wrong, the V&SW 3 chime sounded good, but the Princeton is 4501’s true voice, and I hope that it stays on the locomotive for a long time.

  It was a big surprise for me too, I went into this chase expecting the Virginia and Southwestern 3 chime. When I got to the museum I didn't pay close attention to the whistle so when she blew it in Chattanooga I was pleasantly surprised.

  Wow. Just wow. Such beautiful music! Such a magnificent beast! Wish I could ride her, or at least go outside and watch her run. So happy that she's still loved, and that someone is caring for her. I miss trains. Thanx muchly for sharing this little treasure! Question, please? Where is this? Town/City/State/Country? I see your caption says 'Summerville'. We have a Summerville in the area, but I've never ever seen a steam engine run thru there, or anywhere in our metro, for that matter.

  My guess is they were testing Roger’s coaches here and there, but Roger is not ready to run just yet.

  @@coreypeters4170the other thing is that a locomotive's assigned coaches will once in a while need to be taken out for maintenance and any needed repairs. Since Roger was not back at the time this was taken, Lilly was given Roger's coaches while its own coaches were under maintenance. Likewise, since January 2024, with Roy now at Strasburg, PA, Walter has been pulling Roy’s coaches in place of its own.
