@@Gonken88 Tror det ligger i vår natur är undra och vara nyfikna. Och när det gäller Birka Gotland var ju många väldigt nyfikna på hur fartyget skulle vara, se ut etc när hon började gå igen.

I do realise the World Europa Speak Easy is _by invitation only._ Most Virgin cruises secret entertainment aside from the obvious ones are similarly by invitation only too. I know it's sour grapes but l feel left out. It seems a bit unfair to 99% of the uninvited cruisers. I personally think they shouldn't secretly invite people to venues like this, it seems selective and élitist; they should charge extra for these intimate little affairs say, £100, and publicise them well: at least l would know about them BUT I would have a choice to experience it or not but its then my choice! Being left off the invite for the Captain's Table (because you were economy class) in the last century was bad enough, but to miss out on this special experience that l _could_ have been invited to if l'd schmoozed the right people, curdles my cream rather and leaves a bad taste. As l said: its sour grapes. (And it's just my opinion!)

First time when I was on this ship (inaugural) I didn't manage...I was very disappointed. 😅 However, this time I was lucky. Yes, lucky! It wasn't arranged or anything. I kept my eyes open for opportunities. 😃Ask around is my advice, but in a polite and nice way...👌🏻

They should charge and give people an option to as it looks fun and rotten to miss out on.
It's too small for that. Very exclusive experience. Imagine the ship with so many guests wanting to get in. Even more people would be disappointed. I actually think it's better this way because now it's not about money. Comparing with Royal Caribbean charging 90 USD for Crown's edge which is ridiculous....🤦🏻♀️

We never discovered the code or the _Speak Easy._ Looks like we missed out on a fun evening. That's why l hate Virgin cruises. It seems they rely on keeping their fun venues quiet which means most of the people (only 3 of you there) who paid missed out on something they might enjoy. 😑 (Old joke: man leaving luxury hotel. "You charged us for use of the Rolls and we didn't use it!." Hotel owner: "But it was there!")
Not sure I follow your here... Sorry that you didn't manage to get hold of the code. But you where on the ship? It is not Virgin Voyages (if that's the cruise line you mean) and I wouldn't say they keep fun venues quiet, at all. We were also many more than three. Maybe 20. And we didn't pay to get in, only for drinks.

"Jättekul" står det i kommentarerna. Vad är det som är så kul? Det är inte roligt alls att se detta monster som är mycket omodernt och släpper ut stora mängder koldioxid. Bojkotta dessa bussar och kräv att de slutar köra dem. Om de vill fortsätta sin verksamhet borde de skaffa eldrivna bussar/amfibiebåtar

@@SeaFunTV Absolut! Gillar din överrock! Mycket stiligt. Lite varm kan det bli om man bär den nu. Sorligt att alla dessa gamla fartyg säljs och eller skrotas.
Jäs, visst e det fint, men men, Silja Symphony med sin gågata mitt i båten e väl ändå ett strå vassare? Fast jag åker nog helst Viking, har gjort så sedan 1975 när man besökte Elstockholmo första gången! Sedan 1980 åkte jag igen från Helsingfors och stannat i Stockholms län sedan dess! Sedan finns det ju andra "åkerier" som går till gamla Åbo åxå men dom tar vi i en annan tråd, fniss!!
Spännande att höra! 😊 Och ps. den här videon handlade inte om vem som är vassast på Östersjön utan anledningen var fartygsflytten och att visa upp fartygets renoveringar. 😊
Reste med Cinderella två gånger 1993 till Helsingfors, men har inte varit ombord sedan dess. Vissa utrymmen känns igen i videon. Admiral Hornblowers(?) pub och vinterträdgården i toppen av atriumet är väl ganska mycket kvar i originalskick vilket är trevligt. Reser gärna med Cinderella igen vid tillfälle!

Looking forward to sailing on Cinderella this summer. To me she is definitely the best Viking ship. The older boats have more of a character and atmosphere.

Cinderella är fortfarande INLI vackraste fartyg åkte första gången 1990 på samma linje som nu då röd nu tillbaka som hon va från början hon har charm som dom andra INLI fartyg saknar

Jag skulle själv vilja anse att Cinderella är den finaste och definitivt lyxigaste inredda färjan på Östersjön. Jag skulle också säga att hon kanske är den mest välkända av alla finlandsfärjor, vilket är en titel hon definitivt förtjänar. Även om hon är äldst i flottan så har jag svårt att se henne bli såld eller skrotad inom någon snar framtid. Tack för den fina videon!

Trevligt att se Cinderella i sin originalfärg igen. Har sedan 2003 tyckt att hon såg aningen naken ut i vitt, så detta känns liksom rätt (: Dessutom så uppskattar jag att de valt att bevara den mer klassiska inredningen istället för att byta ut den mot samma "moderna" design man numera finner på Glory och andra nyare fartyg. Mycket mysigare tycker jag.
Jag håller med, roligare när varje fartyg får ha kvar sin själ och personlighet. :-)

Eckerö Linjen är skrivet av en bastard, alltså mycket usel svenska, var det månne en ordblind reklambyrå som var i farten.

But Åland is not Finnish, it´s Swedish by heart and they speak and dream på svenska.

Inasmuch as the Eckerö Line is registered in Finland, then it is a Finnish firm. Ålanders vote and hold representation in the Finnish Parliament, not the Swedish Riksdag. Ålanders enjoy certain rights which they certainly would not as a province of Sweden. According to Eckerö's Internet info, the firm's ships carried a record number of passengers last year (2023) just exceeding 2 million. Of these, 1.6 million passengers traveled between Finland and Estonia. FYI Finland is a bilingual state including a significant Swedish-speaking minority especially in the southern and western coastal areas. Welcome on board the Eckerö Line to Finland (including Åland) or to Estonia - even if you wished that the shipping line was instead rikssvensk.

Tried the basic balcony cabin on her maiden voyage and a tall or large person will have a problem using the loo with the full-size walk-in shower. So back to grills on the next 2 trips and after the shock of the new setup we did more on her than many trips on QE Qe2 QV and Qm2 with no loungers on her walk-around deck being a big +.

Yes you must! 😁 But there seems to be different opinions... In the FB groups where I've posted this they seem to dislike the lack of a walk-in-closet, bathtub and more sqm. I have to check on if the other Cunard ships have that in Princess Grill Suite-level. But for bathtub I can only say it feels unmodern and wasteful in 2024. I'm sure you can live without a bathtub on your cruise...
@@SeaFunTV I've also heard mixed reviews re: storage and bathtubs from this ship - let's see if this is the new 'way forward'!

Synd att poolen tagits bort. Det låter väldigt exotiskt för ett skepp på Östersjön. Nog finns det relaxavdelningar med bubbelpooler på varenda fartyg, men det vore roligt att simma på en båt. 😍 Annars ser båten jättefin ut! Har tyvärr aldrig åkt med Birka.
Nu gav du mig inspiration...😁 Skulle du vilja se vilka slags pooler som finns till havs eller är det bara Östersjön du är intresserad av? Sommartid kommer ju även många större fartyg hit och de har ju alla pooler man kan simma i.
