Finncanopus - a new ferry with a cruise level travel experience!

Join me as I discover the brand new hybrid ropax vessel from Finnlines; Finncanopus! SeaFun was among the first invited to come onboard and discover the 1100-passenger ship when she did a special call at Stadsgården in the center of Stockholm.
You will get a good impression of what to expect and also hear what the captain Stefan Karrell has to say about his duties onboard as well as get some exciting news from Marko Palmu, Head of Passenger services, regarding transportation to the terminal in Kapellskär.
This ship belongs to the Superstar class, as the sister ship Finnsirius. Both ships operates the Kapellskär-Långnäs-Nådendal line between Finland and Sweden via Åland.
Finncanopus (and Finnsirius) are named after the brightest stars in the night sky. Passengers can choose from seven bars and restaurants for their meals. There are conference rooms and lounge facilities, a large duty-free shop, a spa with a gym and yoga room, activities for children and even two outdoor areas for pets. The magnificent archipelago is present through large panoramic windows.
If you are used to low standard car ferries you will be amazed by the design and facilities on these ships that really offer a cruise-level travel experience!
Finnlines now has two daily departures from both Kapellskär and Naantali, and the travel time is approximately 8-9 hours. Please note that regarding the embarkation/disembarkation process for cruise passengers, they enter directly via a walkway from indoors in in Långnäs (Åland), and that it was only on this special inaugural presentation/event that us day visitors could enter by foot through car deck. Normally, you come with a shuttle bus service provided by Finnlines, both in Kapellskär and in Naantali. When you get off this bus you only have a few meters to walk to the elevator that take you directly to your cabin deck and the rest of the ship.
If you haven’t yet, why not also take a look at my videos of the sister ship Finnsirius, and please subscribe to my channel for more videos about ships and cruising.

Tack för den utmärkta videon! P.S Naantali = Nådendal på svenska, båda är officiella namn i Finland.

when you speak english you use the finnish name, that's the general rule grammatically.

Very good and informative video, should I need a ferry in that part of the world I now know where to go. Thank you Heidi.

I love "should I need a ferry" 😂 not "between Finland and Sweden". I'm (also) the kind of person who may take a ship bc of the ship, not necessarily of the destinations. 😅

Ser man fartyget bara utifrån är det svårt att tänka sig att den ska vara så fin som den är tycker jag. 😃

Hur ser det ut med internet på fartyget? På Viking Line brukar man bara få 5 MB utan möjlighet att utöka det.
