What about Amodea's show? Pb2X or something. That show ran two seasons, and everyone I know that was even mildly into paintball back then watched it.

Why is TV the ultimate goal? How about having a sustainable and thriving industry with a solid online experience? Big outside dollars are not going to show up. Red Bull, Bud Light, Nike, etc, are not going to back up the dump truck of money. Chasing TV is an old, out of date way of thinking. I wish those leaders would step aside or adopt new ideas.

I personally feel like paintball has a better home on the internet. things like smaller creators making barrel cam videos or live streams. it makes more sense with how niche the sport is.

I've heard about this FB clipping from a number of sources, but have only read a single person having an issue with this combo, here in these comments. I have an R5 and haven't seen any issue with mine or the others around me. My SpireV (and Spire 3, Spire 4, Dye R2, Dye LTR) work great. The odd thing is the SpireV is mainly an eye activated system, with accelerometer as more of an [unneeded] redundancy. CTRL2 only relies on eyes, no accelerometer. It’s the kind of problem that I expect an accelerometer-only-loaders to have; yet the spire 3/4 which are 'g-force' sensor have great feeding reviews (ignoring shell issues on the SpireIV). I think Virtue messed up in trying to dual activated system (pointless redundancy); either go eyes-or-accelerometer and go from there. These FB comments are being shared a lot, but I'm unsure how wide-spread the problem is. Looking forward to more info from Jack Wood.

I dont like the idea of Signaling to the whole feild you your team is going for a 2 pointer because it would cause the other team to play differently than they normally.

From my understanding of it is these loaders are having trouble because of the much slower bolt speed the geo r5 has. Virtue has a free upgraded sensor you can get on their site, just have to pay for the shipping.

It just a toolless removal eye cover, not an upgraded sensor. Hopefully they will release a firmware update soon and resolve the issue.

My geo R5 works totally fine with spire 5. Also tested with spire 4 and dye rotor. Gunna shoots flawlessly.

I’ve got a ctrl 2 and a spire 5. I’m only having issues with the ctrl 2, my spire is working normally. I think it’s hit or miss with the ctrl 2 or spire 5 on the R5

I think it’s funny how everyone blames PE but it’s a hopper issue. Spire 3/4 and ctrl 1 have 0 issues.

Nothing is as terrible as the DLS. The only thing worse than the DLS in paintball is Dye’s CEO who likes little boys.

I have a Geo5 and the problems are definitely with the SpireV and CTRL2. Neither loader has adjustable settings and I have used both on the R5 with negative results. The loaders struggle to consistently feed 10bps while ramping and only peak around 12bps on semi. Ive tried different eye and sfr setting on the R5 and there’s no change. The marker works perfectly fine on ramp and high rof with a Dye LTR. The marker and loaders work great separately but when used together there’s a problem. Plenty of others have experienced it

Shot clock for paintball: 20 minute games but you have 2 minutes to hit the buzzer. If no one hits the buzzer then its a no point and you try again. In a 20 min game, you'll get at least 10 breakouts (unless its a mercy rule blowout). It prevents teams from just digging in and it changes how teams decide to throw in the towel.

Some unsolicited advice for PE.. Do a simple rebranding of the CS3. Release a "CS3 Gamma" and a "CS3 IV". Keep the 180R as a medium priced Gamma. So much easier.

It’s not really that hard to understand… people love the softer shot of the iV core and always have…… My R5 shoots amazing compared to my cs3 which was loud and shook like a jackhammer

I shot one of these R5s. While im not huge on the hype that goes on with markers, i must say, this thing shot like BUTTER!! It had a signature that reminds me of a dsr+. Super smooth, soft, and quiet. It had me speechless.
