Glad you enjoyed it and it was useful 🙌❤️
I found another youtuber whose name's is Simon alexander Ong using same background as you.
Thanks for the video. I recently got started on WordPress. How can I connect the cookie idea you talked about with it ? Or do they have their own cookie system?
You're welcome! 🙌 You can just sign up for an account on Cookiebot and then install a plugin for Wordpress, which then you can follow this link here to connect the two step by step: support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003784174-Installing-Cookiebot-CMP-on-WordPress
Freedom is priceless. SO true.
There's nothing quite like the freedom to live life on your own terms. It opens up so many opportunities for growth, and I value freedom of time above anything else 🙌

I am scared hopeless lost and numb and hate it
I've so been there. ❤️ I hope that this video can start the internal reflection for so many of us who are in similar situations. You've got this!

I also feel there is something wrong with me
HR has no interest in selling goods or services. Something got broke. Self employment is the path.
For me, that felt like the right path, it may not be for everyone as self employment has its up and downs too. Maybe one for another video! 🙌
Great content. Your comment about social proof and leveraging content creators was very interesting
thank you
You're welcome! 🙌
"Detaching from all outcomes". And love the point that sometimes a job may not be the safest option, it really makes us reexamine what we want to get the most out of life and our time.
This idea helped me to make the leap, and learning to detach from all outcomes helped me to focus on what I can control. 🙌
Same boat. I’m in Fintech. Just stumbled across your channel & subbed ☝🏻. Took me 3+ years of procrastination to launch my channel as well. Slow growth but glad I started
Thank you for sharing your journey and for subscribing to my channel! It's great to hear that you finally launched your own channel after overcoming procrastination-slow growth is still growth, and starting is often the hardest part. Great to meet here on KZread 🙌
This really came at the right time for me to reassure myself I haven’t done the wrong thing. I quit a high paying job I hated and am finally doing what I love. I don’t know what the future will hold, but it can’t be worse than staying in that job. My only regret is it took me until my fifties to realise this. You have inspired me.
I'm so glad this resonated with you! It's never too late to pursue what you love, and it takes a lot of courage to make such a significant change. The future is full of possibilities, and doing what you love can lead to unexpected and fulfilling opportunities. My Dad is reinventing himself at 68! Thank you for sharing your journey-your story is inspiring, too. Wishing you all the best on this new path!
❤
🙌❤️
Watching this video about quitting the 9 to 5 grind really resonates with me. It's a powerful reminder that life is too short to be spent doing something that doesn't fulfill us. Thanks Laurie
🙌 That's very true, and glad that the video resonated. Thanks for sharing!
Best decision ever or worst mistake? I hope that you found this video helpful and learned from some of my experiences from this incredibly difficult decision. Let me know if you have any questions or just want to share your perspectives! 🙌❤
"A job is not the most secure option." I was recently laid off and your video expresses a lot of the same feelings I'm having. Since losing my job I'm volunteering and doing things I enjoy but never had time for. I didn't choose to leave and I liked my job, but I don't miss it. I miss the money and stability it gave me and navigating an unexpected layoff without a big financial safety net has caused us to downsize our life and live more frugally. But I'm fortunate to have a very supportive partner, no kids and some part time work that helps while I'm figuring out what's next. But you're right I'm learning that maybe 9-5 work isn't for everybody. This freedom is a joy I've never felt before in a job. I just need to figure out how to translate doing what I enjoy into consistent income.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It's definitely challenging to navigate an unexpected layoff, especially without a big financial safety net. I've been through this during the financial crisis and it was extremely scary. It's great to hear that you're finding joy and freedom in doing things you enjoy, even if it means living more frugally. Having a supportive partner can make a huge difference during times like these. Turning your passions into consistent income is a journey, but it sounds like you're on the right path. Stay positive and keep exploring new opportunities-you never know what might come your way. You've got this!
Thank you
You're welcome!

Possible keystone habit for couch potatoes...10 minutes of grounding followed by wim hof method.
I have been trying to add in having a few hangout sessions with friends per week as the hustle continues. Exercise, walking the dogs and meditation is my calming routine
Love these, I can't live without daily movement or exercise. These micro moments and habits all adds up. 🙌❤️
Thank you for this reminder! ❤ I’m working on reinventing myself as we speak in my mid-30s. Wishing everyone on their own journey the best of luck!
You got this! It's never too late 🙌❤️
Hi Laurie new to trying to learn about youtube and finding a neesh , what is your top 10 fields that are worth pursuing in the near future and can over 55 's be able to learn and grow ina so fast paced internet realm? p.s keep on doing you as you ooze confidence and great communication skills.. : ) ciao from Australia
I’ve taken several career assessment tests and they all seem to point me towards data analysis. I need to focus on that.
Sounds great and especially if you have a curiosity and interest in it. You've got this! 🙌❤️
How do you know the difference between loving it and something just becoming hard. I start out, and i am fired up then it fizzles out, and i start looking to go back to old things i have tried beforehand as my mind starts to drift and become bored and lack motivation to continue on my current project
Thanks for sharing your experience. It can be tough to tell the difference between genuinely loving something and just hitting a hard spot. Try reflecting on how you feel about the core activity, not just the challenges. Passion often pushes through obstacles. Breaking your project into smaller tasks and celebrating little wins might help keep your motivation up. Keeping a journal of your progress and feelings can also give you some clarity. Have you tried any strategies to stay motivated? Also, there is a video coming out on this which talk about reframing the activity, keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks!
Very informative video, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 🙌❤️
Can you do more videos about how to build disciplined routine into our life especially for people who have ADHD? I would love a video on this topic. Thank you for the video.❤ Also I appreciate you don’t add music on the background 🙏
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and appreciated the lack of background music. I'll definitely consider creating more content on building disciplined routines. It's an important topic, and I'm happy to dive deeper into it. Stay tuned for future videos, and thank you for the suggestion! ❤🙏
Thank you ❤

Hey I am freelance website content creator here I was wondering which of these softwares is best for like sending websites to clients
From the terms of migrating the website to clients as I am struggling to find something that is actully easy to use in this point
Great question. Have you looked into Brizy? They offer a Wordpress plugin license for enterprise accounts which you can assign to each client after building their site.
Yeah I totally get you, it can be difficult to migrate to client (I think Squarespace and Wordpress are probably two of the best ways to migrate over).
I am a 30 year old, who comes from a fairly successful family. 10 year ago, I moved from Suriname to the Netherlands, initially to pursue my studies. After that I found a well paying job as a low-code application developer (started off as a trainee, as I had a business background). I have done projects for really big organisations, which I am really proud of. However, A few months ago, I realised I was burned out and it really made me reflect on life and what I want. I’m not completely there yet, but I must admit that this is feeling like an amazing journey where I have found answers to questions that I never knew had that much impact on me as a human being. Thanks for this video, as I think that this really aligns with what I am looking for at the moment: Redesigning my life
Thank you for sharing your story. It sounds like you've had an impressive journey and have achieved a lot. Burnout can be a tough but valuable turning point, and it's great to hear you're finding clarity and direction. What are some of the key insights or changes you've discovered so far in your journey of reflection and redesigning your life?
Thank you for you reply, Laurie. I have accepted that sometimes it is fine to slow down and rest. You could compare our bodies to tires, if you keep on hitting the gas pedal, eventually your tire lose profile (grip). Furthermore, I came to the conclusion that even though I have been growing quickly over the years, I am always on high alert -always wanting to please people, prove that I am good enough. The conclusion is that although I seem confident, deep down I have a really low self worth. This actually stems from my youth. Always seeking that validation from my father who was a successful businessman, wanting to be like him. Lessons so far: 1. You are good enough as you are. Don’t go chasing after other’s their dreams. Find your own purpose (meditation really helps you in finding ‘yourself’) 2. Question, really question when you are feeling some type of way. Dig deep and you’ll gain clarity. Only when you know the underlying reason, will you be able to take real action. 3. Listen to your body, life is more than work. Learn to accept that it is fine to slow down sometimes

Any community suggestions which you mentioned in the end?
Depending on what type of community you are looking for, I found that when I first moved to a new city, going to the local Meetup and Toastmaster events helped me to find like minded peers who eventually developed into long term friendships.
@@lauriexwang any communities for a budding beginner KZreadr to get feedback and the "vibe"? Do you host any such communities??

Yes I think that too many tasks and too much multi-tasking just leads to low mood, there's nothing you've really achieved, just another day at the office. It is a great thing to concentrate on something and get good at it. And that's what can lift you out of the hum-drum. Then you don't check job ads you just pick the company you want to work for.
❤
I think this was one of the most valuable videos I’ve ever watched. Thank you!
