  This makes me so sad that I was in tears before the end. What a beautiful tribute to Karen and so very special and sweet that Olivia included it in one of her concerts. Even after more than 40 years, it still kills me that Karen died so young. Thank you for sharing this. RIP Olivia and Karen.

  Also in May 1983 on Motown 25 Dick Clark (RIP) acknoweldged the White Artists who did their interpretations of Motown Songs and they showed The Carpenters and this was just three months after her death.

  The best 2 pure female singers I've ever heard in my life. If heaven exists, and we truly go up with a singing angel on each arm, I pray mine are Karen & Olivia. Both voices just make my eyes fill when I hear them. RIP!!
