I’m giving you a thumbs up and appreciate the video but there’s a large part of me that thinks you are an accident waiting to happen. Lol. Not sure if I was more concerned with you breaking your neck or becoming dinner for a bear in a cave. I can just see this bear sitting in a cave, knife and fork in paws, praying for dinner … and look who just came in!!!

@@RyanThayne That's a huge advantage. However, even in the main season Yellowstone seems not overcrowded (my experience of two visits), especially compared to Yosemite. You may see fewer animals in winter too but the few you see won't run away so fast to save energy.

@@viceroyzh Snow makes it easier to spot animals! Brown and black bear are in their holes, so they're not around. With enough snow, bison and elk move to the northern end of the park, so you see even more of them.

This was such a great video! There was so much less snow when I was out in January. I could walk anywhere in Lamar without needing to use snowshoes or skis. Bannock was walkable all the way down and we maybe had 10 or 12 inches in the yard just past the dump. I'm heading out for the summer in about a month and can't wait to be back.
