I’m giving you a thumbs up and appreciate the video but there’s a large part of me that thinks you are an accident waiting to happen. Lol. Not sure if I was more concerned with you breaking your neck or becoming dinner for a bear in a cave. I can just see this bear sitting in a cave, knife and fork in paws, praying for dinner … and look who just came in!!!

Northwestern PA is very underrated. We have an off-grid cabin up there and it’s the only place that reminds me of the greater Yellowstone area in the fall and winter. The quehanna trail & wild area is amazing!

Did you use a drone for some footage? If I was in an Omni or OmniMax theater I really would have been swerving in my chair. Amazing that they can bulk up and dig for food or eating bark and twigs.

@@RyanThayne That's a huge advantage. However, even in the main season Yellowstone seems not overcrowded (my experience of two visits), especially compared to Yosemite. You may see fewer animals in winter too but the few you see won't run away so fast to save energy.

@@viceroyzh Snow makes it easier to spot animals! Brown and black bear are in their holes, so they're not around. With enough snow, bison and elk move to the northern end of the park, so you see even more of them.

This was such a great video! There was so much less snow when I was out in January. I could walk anywhere in Lamar without needing to use snowshoes or skis. Bannock was walkable all the way down and we maybe had 10 or 12 inches in the yard just past the dump. I'm heading out for the summer in about a month and can't wait to be back.

That's so interesting. Right after we left it snowed for about a week straight up there bringing the snow totals way up. I would have liked to see it with with fresh snow. I've got a Cooke City in Winter video I'll be releasing next week. Thankfully I was able to film it during, and right after a snow storm so looks like there's more snow than there really is 😂
