    Hello Nathalie. I started the square exercise and i find it easy to place myhands correctly one After the other on the floor but my legs hardly go more than 30 cm off the ground. Do i need more répétitions of the same exercise or try something else. Thank you so much ❤

    I finished yourr 30 day couch to handstand course. I find this has really helped me to build on my hand balance and upper body strength. Once I'm more confident, I'm going to follow one of your classes that will take me into a 'free' handstand away from the wall. Thank you. I'm really enjoying your classes. 😊

    When holding a normal straight handstand, are you also supposed to round your back like you talk about in the kick up?

  • @NatalieReckert
    @NatalieReckert6 күн бұрын

    If you are at a beginners stage then yes. Because rounding the back = flat back. You can't actually round in a handstand but if you try to do so, then this engages your chest in a way that flattens your back. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i5N9tdN_nM-nlMY.html

    Bending your arms in a v- sit is like bending your arms in a handstand, do not practice bending your arms. Keep them locked as you'll need your triceps to stabilise.

  • @NatalieReckert

    Haha. Aim for 5 seconds in the beginning and then bring it up to 10 over time. 15 seconds is great. 20 seconds is extra awesome. But it's getting the first 5 seconds without dropping the legs, that's the hard bit. Don't firget to breathe if you want to hold longer ;)

    Hello :) It's really hard to wean yourself off the wall. Try with your back to the wall and only very light toe contact. And then try and try and try to find balance by pressing the fingers into the floor. Don't push or bounce off the wall. Grip the floor for control. Stick with it and be persistent and with a sense of lion paws attacking the floor. You'll get there :)

    Amazing! Thank you. When I practice kicking up on my own, I tend to overthink and second guess myself. But when I just focus on trying to match your rhythm, I relax and tend to hit a better end position. If I did this with you every 2days or so, I imagine my kick up constancy would improve quite quickly 🤞🤓🤸‍♀️

  • @NatalieReckert
    @NatalieReckert29 күн бұрын

    Hello and thank you for sharing. I do see this in many of my students and that's why I usually suggest for the kick-ups sets with a rhythm because then the body has the chance to sort things out intuitively. Both thinking and not thinking are important in training. I am happy you feel the benefit of it :)
