The RPM is past 7K and when running goes to left side aka it’s going right to left upside down. It is not at shut down setting at zero

I program this in TrueNAS and it allows me to do a "Run Now" and it won't shut it down. Any ideas? The command will work if I get to the shell command in the Web gui but not as a Cron command.

Unfortunately this video I created years ago probably no longer applies to TrueNAS or they might have change the way to schedule a shutdowns in the UI. I haven't true nice enough to kind of give you any helpful tips but any amount of Google searching could probably yield more ever result that you might be looking for.

I got a question have a 05 mustang with this same cluster. I have the buttons for the color lights. The 3 buttons info, reset, an I forget the 3rd one. Anyways I only have green lighting no matter what I try. Any suggestions

To my knowledge they all use the same motor. If you think you are experiencing the same issues as I had then replacing the motor might work. (NOTE) You should make sure it is the motor and not a sensor or fuse that is bad before getting into the cluster.

Great video. I replaced three motors on the circuit board for the gauges that were inop: fuel level and tachometer. After putting those in, my speedometer went out (needle would return very roughly). I got an instrument cluster from a junkyard and desoldered those motors. Hopefully they work a long time and it saved me hundreds.

I have a customers car ‘05 mustang fuel gauge is pointing straight to the left at a 90 degree. About a half inch BELOW empty. I replaced sending unit..same problem. Is it the stepper motor? When you start car you can see gas needle pulsing like it’s trying to move but can’t

Wow! Way easier than I thought. I did it in no time! Screw paying $60+ for a "new" cluster. Buy the motors on eBay for under $10 and do it yourself. Thanks guys!

Are all 4 motors in the instrument cluster identical? My fuel gauge is erratic. Is there a way to replace the speaker in the circuit board (mine is intermittently working for turn signal, door chime, seat belt etc)

I tried this.... they were at 0 after turning the car off and on about 8 times. Left the vehicle and came back and hour later and the rev gauge is throwed back off. Any recommendations?

I have a problem with the temperature gauge. When I talk everything apart I put everything back and I had a problem with the temperature gauge it's keep going counterclockwise

Did you replaced the motor or just took everything apart and put it back together again? If you did put a new motor in and the needle is going the opposite way then might be a bad motor, or some how the polarity could be reversed casing the motor to go in the opposite direction, or worse case is that something could be shorting out when it was replaced. Another thing to think about before replacing any motors is to check fuses and sensors first. Unfortunately working with electronics anything could and will go wrong.

when I was trying to take it apart and put a bag I was missing behind the temperature sensor and one of the gear little gear fell down and I was trying to put everything together I put everything back together and then the temperature Gage not working good but I'm sure I did put everything right .

OK so it didn't take long at all! Just gotta follow part 2 of the video tomorrow to calibrate the dials & then I can get it inspected. I just went ahead & replaced all 4 motors while I had it apart. I knew for sure that tach, speed & fuel weren't working right but I suspected that my temp gauge might've been off too so I changed them all 👍 thanks again for your help from so long ago 😉

Josh Allen however was/is a "dickbag" as he likes to put it, and i cant believe hes still community manager for WoW. Then again with how shit retail is now i'm not really surprised at all. I came back for patch 8.2, but its clear nothings changed, im out.

I have a 2005 ,V8. My battery and oil gauage sticks up when I turn the motor on. Do I need to buy the motor for the gauages or can I just reset them the way you did it in this video. Plz let me know. Thanks for the awesome video!!!!!

The Synology computer doesn't have windows installed on it. You will need to have a second computer on the network to do some of the installing. Try your best to follow the video guide.
