  I have an idea for a sequel to this game called manga zone. it won't be a beat'em up like comix zone as combat will focus on melee and firearms combat. it would take place somewhere in japan and a well known anime artist is making a manga series that is very popular. however as he was finishing the final chapter he is suddenly pulled into his own creation and a new evil that was an apprentice to the main bad guy from comix zone has become the new villain of this game but this time things are much different as the world that he is in has become 3d instead of 2d like in comix zone. there is more so if you want to hear more of my idea let me know and i will tell you about it. p.s. whoever is doing this walkthrough of this game is awesome. Keep kicking butt. :)

  @@BeatTheBit alright, about a few minutes or so into the game you meet the original main character who at first does not like anime. however, he pretty soon almost gets killed but luckly he is rescued and he goes from hating anime to loving it and the two become partners. So, this his how the one player story goes. so, combat wise it is a mixtures of fallout 3 and persona. the game, with the exception of the cutscenes will be entirely in first person, when an enemy spots you or you then are tranvered into battle mode and have to fight them or run. running sometimes will not work and sometimes it will. fighting the enemy will be like a first person shooter so you will have free control of your attacks and they are not turn based. lastly for today weapons range from swords and other melee weapons to firearms and energy weapons. i will have more later.

  The very fact there IS a good and bad ending is the most ridiculous part of this game. It's already hard enough but for you to get to the end and not save the girl...oh man, I would blow a gasket. This game was nightmare fuel in terms of difficulty. I played it in 1995 and 1996 and I remember it being IMPOSSIBLE to beat. You had to know how to use all the items like a puzzle game almost in order to maintain your health. It's insane that I see people online beating it like it's nothing. I had a Game Genie for Nintendo only and then Game Shark's for Dreamcast and Playstation 1/2, so I didn't get to have any type of infinite lives. But man was this game a hardcore gamer's game haha..

  There is also a 3rd ending which is what I often get... Worst Ending GAME OVER ENDING Mortus becomes a real person. He's going to rock this world!!!! Nice knowing you, Sketch Turner!

  Haha I think that's the ending WE all knew as kids growing up haha, this game was beyond absurd when it came to difficulty. It wasn't like Nintendo's "hard for the sake of the console" it was straight up "fuck you-hard" lol.

  There is something I wanted to have seen more of. The villain's backstory. I mean, the alien side of the war is composed by a bunch of almost pheral and territorial mutants (nature), monk like aliens (spiritualism and transhumanism), and the leader is a space cowboy (greed and lack of law). And the human side is a litteral empire of a unified human race (absolute order). But the question is how did this unity and equality came to be ? And the aliens, how are they so different from each other yet manage to cooperate and support each other properly ? Why were each of them banned from their planets ? And finally, only Mortus seems to be the real sadistic one, the rest of the leaders seems to simply follow orders for the sake of their own survival in Mortus's system, like pieces in a business machine. What was the story Sketch was writing about ? What was the message ?

  I had to sit at the foot of the stone pile between 1:51 and 4:04 to let the flying creature destroy it because the main character takes damage when it hits 👊 objects. Feel free to fast-forward it.
