Farren, are the recommended pre-reqs mentioned in your video undergraduate or graduate level courses?
I’m hispanic am I’m worried about going through some of those bad experiences because I’m not of the same cheerful culture as you said in the video. I’m worried that I’m going to stand out a lot with the majority of the class. I’m a Rn, so when I went to nursing school most of classmates were Hispanic and Asian, so I did not face no racial issues.

Do you feel like a bachelors in anything else like business would be accepted to go into the program? I’m an A student high gpa and I’m not interested in business at all the medical field is where my heart is 100%. But if I could get this bachelors and then pre reqs and apply it would be a faster route.
If I go back for my bachelors in chem or biology it’ll be another 4 years before I get into the AA program 😩
Just take the required prerequisites. You don’t need a degree in chemistry or biology.

Hi Farren! I am interested in pursuing the CAA route and I loved your video! I do have couple questions for you. 1) I still have to do a few things for my application including getting my shadowing hours, possibly retaking the GRE and writing my personal statement. When do you recommend getting applications turned in? I know a lot of the schools have different deadlines and that a lot have rolling admission, but what timeframe do you recommend? When did you submit your applications? 2) I took the GRE last year and got a 156 Verbal, 153 Quant, and a 4.5 Analytical writing and my GPA is a 3.96. Do you think I should retake my GRE because of my lower quant score? What were your scores and other CAA students' scores if I may ask? 3) What would you focus on writing about in the personal statement? I have about 800 hours of patient care experience having worked and volunteered in Physical therapy as an aide, do you think it would be good to include that on the application and on the personal statement? thank you!

So I didn't do great in my undergrad, and its been like 10 years since i graduated. I worked as an Anesthesia tech for 3 years too. I know applications are competitive so I would love to pursue this but it would take me a while for pre-reqs again since I've been out of school for 10+ years and I also get discouraged because its so competitive and I didn't do well in undergrad back in the day. Is it worth it?

I'm 48 yo attorney thinking about this career change. I've had a house and luxury bags. That shit is a joke and keeps you brainwashed. In 2018 i moved out of my house with a mortgage and maintenence costs and moved into a small apt for$550/mo. Best decision i ever made. I began saving and investing my money. I've got 6 figures saved. Certainly didn't have that when i was trying to keep up with the joneses. Now I'm looking to up my income hence the career change. Trust me, where money is concerned, you're thinking about things the right way. Shoot for your financial freedom.
Appreciated the women of color feedback info. I recently listened to a podcast with a CAA who is gay, he said teachers would comment on his personality and that used to bother him bc it was a comment on his character but he said once he started working it was never an issue. This is informative.
What country is that? A teacher comment on student being gay? I mean what’s the teaching got to do with a student’s sexuality? In USA? He should sue that teacher and school ASAP!!
