  Obviously, compared to dw8, dw9 was a game in which many changes and attempts were made in terms of graphics and game aspects, but it was only a half-formed reform. Despite the slow texture loading and long loading, the textures are of low quality, the weapons of the unique generals are made redundant, and there are many situations where soldiers and animals push the player, fight with enemy generals, and climb up buildings, interrupting the flow. Problems such as the problem of having to wait for a long time because the enemy general is not summoned at all are probably drawbacks that come from using an older self-developed game engine, so I recommend changing to Unreal Engine like Tekken or Unity to apply technologies appropriate for the times.

  In DW9, koei tecmo made a complete “family” characters, like the Sima Yi family from Jin, or like Zhang Fei family from Shu. They completely made father, mother and son/daughter character in one line up of the kingdom. I wish they made a new playable woman character for Wu in the future. maybe like Wu Guotai, mother of Sun Shangxiang and wife of Sun Jian. or maybe like Sunshi, daughter of Sun Ce and wife of Lu Xun. So they can make another “family” characters 😂

  I beat ys 6 a couple of months ago and watching a clip of it on youtube makes me already feel nostalgic. The music does a good job of portraying that feeling. Music is legendary.

  Here I am in 2024... Some characters got toned down for their characteristics, some got toned up. I hope there's no "realistic"word on upcoming Dynasty Warriors games (unless when the "realistic" refers to the picture/video resolutions).

  I know this video is 4- almost 5 years old but this was a really rough presentation of the series. OG/PC-88 Ys 1&2 were not present, no Celceta which is a major remake of IV, and early footage of Ys IX using VIII music lol

  My favourite warrior on each series : 1. Warriors Orochi : Nobunaga (at story and gameplay mechanic, this character has to be 1st) 2. Warriors Orochi 2 : Sun Wukong (You got fast movement without horse, OP power button, and Fun Combo) 3. Warriors Orochi 3 : Wang Yuanji (A stoic girl playing with daggers ? C'mon bruh) 4. Warriors Orochi 4 : Diamondback (it's not even a question)

  Warriors orochi 1 will always be my favorite. Grew up playing this game, SW2 and DW5.
