    Quelle merveille le touché de balle exceptionnel des joueurs. Patrick, pour l'avoir rencontré est incroyable ces balles retombent et sont courbées quant à Werner son revers est court et très efficient, en CD grande amplitude mais dosée à mort. Du très grand art.

    Wow Henzell is very talented. He was more than a match for Wang and probably deserved the win. A couple of wayward backhands cost him I think. Very impressive for an Australian player. No slight against Aussies but i've never seen one of that level.

  • @gm167704
    @gm1677046 жыл бұрын

    I'm not sure he was more than a match for Wang, I think Wang definitely deserved this win. Henzell's wayward backhands were always at crucial moments, where he COULD have capitalized and taken control of the game which is telling, he's wasn't a mature enough player. Sometimes even when players look closely matched, there's actually a large gap between them. I think this match is a good example of this

    Ma Lin can be a sneaky so-and-so, but he's also the best tactical Chinese player I've ever seen. Maze was playing well, and exploiting a (then) Chinese weakness against high lobs. So Ma LIn gave him very little chance to play them. So many drop shots, keeping Maze stretching and close to the table. A great performance.

    Not a convincing win for WLQ at all. I do wish that Henzell won this match, and I think he's the rightful winner, as he played better. Wang Liqin coped very well mentally, but this was a poor match for Wang.

    Nothing is impossible because Wang is getting older and he's a player that waits for the opponent's mistakes. Wang liqin lost against an Iranian not so famous, cause that guy plays with both hands. I knew they became friends from Henzell's videos.

    I wonder what would have happened if Henzell had won that second game. Liqin probably would have come back and won anyway but a 2-0 deficit is a challenge even for the top Chinese players. I did not know that they became friends after but I do know that Liqin is a great sport and probably had mad respect for Henzell after their match

    I noticed that also. This match was all about the serve. Wang Liqin started to figure out how to return the Henzell serve starting at 7-2 in the second game. Before that point Liqin is lost and Henzell is on fire. From this point on Liqin starts to play better and Henzell plays well also but he has a few too many costly errors.

    Some chinese top-players have tendency to "fall asleep" in the beginning of games against easy opponents. Then they "woke up" later and their opponents have no chances then

  • @darrylkassle361
    @darrylkassle3617 жыл бұрын

    i wouldn't say Henzell is an easy opponent,that's for sure. Despite being ranked in the top world 100 at something like 90 his game when on is DEFINATELY a top 30 game. i know this as it is common knowledge within the international scene. You just have to look at his game here despite the obvious mistakes to see that. Also in his career he has consistently beaten players in the top 50. Rankings are not always accurate as they reflect tournament play . At his best even if Waldner only played a few tournaments his ranking would probably not reflect his skill and how good he is. Its the same with anyone else. THE MAN DESERVES ALL THE RESPECT POSSIBLE. Also for anyone to make it in the top 100 world rankings for their sport is imo achieving a level beyond 99%of people whom play that sport and are deserving of great admiration and respect.
