What different bits did you use and in what order and at what speeds thanks
Can you machine me a SF 49ers medallion? Please and Thank you. I need it for Superbowl sunday
I have tried to communicate with you guys but no one answers!
Hello @csq530, please use the contact form on our website and we will reach back to you shortly. www.sourcerabbit.com/Contact/
This is fascinating. Absolutely fascinating. Are there any businesses in the US that could machine a prodotype of a product I’m trying to make? What would I need to provide to them? Any resources would be appreciated greatly!
Hi there! Check out my DIY CNC machine here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eXeBt8-SmqXYncY.html I bet the most COMPACT enclosed and aluminium-capable desktop CNC out there. Most COMPACT in a sense that it probably has the lowest ratio of overall machine volume to available working area. Let me know if I am wrong. For the records: - overall dimension: 400x360x520 mm - working area: 250x150x100 mm - ratio: 19,968
Rpm and power of spindle??
Wher can i buy this 4th axis ?
How do they make the holes for the pins and stripes
good job
How much?
I'd be super-interested to know how to do this process except with some sort of laser / lidar sensor instead of a touch probe. Does anyone have any suggestions on equipment and / or resources to research this further?
Rabitcam free?
Yes, feel free to download RabbitCAM from our website. Just follow the link www.sourcerabbit.com/Shop/pr-i-94-t-rabbitcam-crossplatform-cnc-cam.htm

Hi, can this cnc cut ferrous metals
Anyone know the dimensions of that vise? I made a mistake and purchased a 4 inch vise that was too big for my table but I thought these were too small
what type of spindle is that an what router bit are you using ?
How did you hold it down?
We often used painter's tape and super glue to hold down stock material. With this way we can use the whole part since there are no work holding clamps touching the workpiece :)
really? 4.5K for a few aluminum plates?
What software do you have to use to create the programmes for the machine
Let's be honest, those cheap callipers are not precise at all. Nothing less than mitutoyo.
What callipers would you recommend?
@@mitjabrglez9599 Like I said - Mitutoyo. I've worked with many cheap calipers and they are waste of money even at that price. In the video he's using 25$ "insize" calipers. My favorite one is Mitutoyo IP67 if you take care of them, they can work perfectly even a decade later. But then again on amazon they cost $171.95 with a discount. Imo they are worth every penny. I paid ~$200 in my country
Is it suitable for production or continous op
Absolutely no continous op, it will damaging the spindle. Since the spindle is air cooled spindel. Prototype i believe no problem.
Impressive work for a small machine, of all the micro machines I have looked at including the Taig 2019 and the Sherline Deluxe. I like the design of this machine the best, it's a shame the price is higher than the competing machines.
Hello Matthew, thank you for you comment. The price is a reflection of the machine quality and capabilities. Micro Mill features ballscrews and linear guides, it offers a bigger work area (300x200x180mm) and weights much more than the two machines you are comparing with. In case you need to learn more do not hesitate to contact our support department www.sourcerabbit.com/Contact/
@@sourcerabbit "Micro Mill features ballscrews and linear guides", oh you mean those "features" every cnc mill has? Even previously mentioned Taiga and Sherline have those. And you don't even have a rail cover to protect most important parts on the machine, so what about it's longevity? How long will it hold tolerances? Couple weeks?months? It's weight is actually a bad thing since shipping is more expensive. And the work area is really not that bigger to justify the cost. Your only somewhat valid argument is it's "capabilities" since I couldn't find how much power Taiga has, but it at least comes with vise and a 6 piece collet set as a standart. Be honest to yourself, your machine Is overpriced, more than twice the price of Taiga.
@@ShitThatsMyn thank you for your comment. You are most welcome to bring one of the mills you are comparing with our Micro Mill and do a live comparison. As for the shipping cost.. shipping cost is calculated from volume and not from weight.
get a better spindle lol
Was this intended as part 1? Much left to do.
Hello, we do not speak your language so we Google translate your message. The sure thing is that you have not buy the spindle from us. We give 2years warranty to every mechanical part.
How about your aftersales service?

Well done.
How do you drill the holes between the lugs where the straps fit into?
they are usually drilled through from the outside, and then the outer holes a soldiered.
What's super sticky tape you
Always do it a second time once it has found the centre. It gives more accurate results if it can hit the walls square-on.
Hi, curious what touch probe you're using, or whether you made it yourself?
Hello James, in this video we use a 3D touch probe made by Usovo.

Is that how my Hamilton's and Steinhart's were made?
Oooo! I may be in the market for a desktop mill, would this one be good enough for making something like Mechanical Key Caps? Or would you want something like your Micro Mill?
Hello, you can make keycaps on both machines using plastics and non ferrous metals like aluminum. Feel free to contact our support department in order to get more information (www.sourcerabbit.com/Contact/)
Looks really nice, we also like your CNC mill setup it got this job task done for you, nice. Lance & Patrick.
Thank you for your kind comment!
