There is no such thing as St Louis pizza!!!! It is a chemically produced cheese product, not cheese, on a saltine cracker. The recipe for the crust is available on line and it is an exact match to the recipe for saltine crackers. I wish all of the youtubers would stop promoting that stuff, it is terrible!!!
You picked the wrong pretzel to showcase. That's some mall variety. Not a proper philly walking pretzel with mustard.
Super
There's also horse meat snails and tripe if you want something weird.
Nice❤
❤ Nice
'Sukhumvit 77," Thai food! Wow, had a friend tell me about this new place that just opened. Incredible delicious Thai food. Located in Universal City (northeast San Antonio) - Corner of 1604 & Pat Booker. Worth the short drive if you live in the area and are looking for great Thai Food at a fair price. And they did a super job with the decor - classy look and very clean.
Deutscher heißer Kartoffelsalat wurde aus reinem Rattenfleisch, Pferdeäpfeln, die wie Kartoffeln aussehen, Löwenzahnkraut und Krähenmägen zubereitet
No mention of chopped cheese???
POUTINE IS PRONOUNCED PUTIN ...
"MONTREAL SMOKED MEAT" IS ONLY FOUND IN MONTREAL AND WE HAVE MANY GREAT PLACES TO EAT THIS TREAT!!
The shape of the croissant is the original shape when it came to Paris from Vienna, about 350 years ago.

AAA la France 😍🥰😍🥰🧘🏼♂️
I ate at a tourist trap restaurant called Ristorante Papà Francesco during my trip to Milan! There were a lot of English-speaking tourists at the restaurant. There was a waiter outside trying to draw tourists into the restaurant.
This was incredibly frustrating! WANT!
one really unique thing with Austrian desserts is that the one served warm like Kaiserschmarrn or Marillenknödel can also be the main dish. like not in restaurants but in privates homes they are served (sometimes after a soup to make it not that unhealthy) as the main dish, that's why the portions are usually quite big
I had the Nockerl in Salzburg. The waitress informed me that it was for two people. I was traveling alone, and wasn't sure when I would visit Salzburg again, much less with another person, so I ordered it anyway. I ate the whole thing.
I love bratwurst with yhe grain mustard
Kiachl looks like Mormon scones! So good with honey.
Of course it's subjective, but I found the Sacher-Torte very overrated. I ate it fresh from the famous hotel in Vienne and rated it a solid meh. I brought some home for the family and ended up throwing most of them away. Nobody liked it. The rest of deserts were fantastic, especially the strudels!
I also had the original Sachertorte from Hotel Sacher, and I also found it underwhelming. I'm not sure if the cake itself is inherently like that, or if Sacher just got too complacent. Now I'm wondering if it would've tasted better if I had it from a different shop.
@@donutdude1934 na, it's definitly overrated, like in the true meaning of overrated. it's not really bad, but if you need to add whipped cream to it to make it less dry it's not the best cake of the whole country either
Where’s the Leberkässemmel?
I was a little skeptical. Could he do the South justice? Would he have the same level of expertise that he shows in the wonderful European videos? Much to my surprise, yes! This is a great introduction to southern food for tourists. The only challenge is identifying the distinct regional cuisine within the south. For example, hush puppies in the VA tidewater or Carolina low country are usually sweet. In the Gulf South, they are usually savory with onions. Great job!
Your channel is very nice. A little effort will get more views
The most memorable part of my trip to vienna was the sweets treats. Sacretorte was my favourite 😋👌🏼. Thanks mark for all the recommendations for my next trip.
Hundert
My favorite, right now? Every single thing you mentioned WHICH I CAN'T GET!
You covered just about everything. So good. Love vienna.
I had the best time in Austria!! I went on a tour that had us make apple strudel from scratch in Salzburg. And don't miss trying kaiserschmarrn.
I can't remember what it was called, but when I went to Landtmann in Vienna, I had a raspberry chocolate later cake of some description. One layer was like a raspberry mousse, another chocolate mousse, and the top layer was a smooth, raspberry compote. Definitely recommend that!
Found the name from an old photo - the Erdbeer-Schoko-Sacher, so it was strawberry, not raspberry!
Ha. I was trying not to have too much sugar when I last visited Austria. I failed.
Went to Austria last month and I’m making Sacertorte for my birthday cake on May 31
Feel free to mention when you should be near the region of Altmühlfranken. Beautiful lakes, good food and cozy small cities as also the most northern Bavarian border of the Roman Empire (Limes).
Yes German Food is really good. But French, Italian or Spanish food is much better with more varibility and its far more healthy. We eat to much meat or sausage, often fat or smoked. When you change your life style, it is impossible with german food. I suffer high uridic acid values, so german food is like poison for me
Do not forget sane food like the famous Frankfurter Grüne Soße, a White sauce appearing Green with 7 herbs inside eaten with boiled potatoes and eggs. With this dish you Apfelwein (German Cider). Or try Handkäs mit Musik. A special low fat cheese swimming in cut onions , oil and vinegar. Served with bread an Butter and only a knife, no fork... All this hast hundreds years of traditional in Hessen (Frankfurt Region). There you can also find the really old Apfelweinkneipen (traditional Pubs). German food is often fat. So it is important to look at the low fat dishes. Cheers 😊
Just seeing this video now for the first time. Better late than never. Great video Mark! I lived in New York for two years while I was in culinary school and loved the food there ... I still do! I just had a conversation a few nights ago about how you can get anything you want to eat in New York City and that's what makes it so great. Only one thing I would add to this video would be Halal Carts! Shawarma or falafel with rice, pickled veggies, and pita from a street food vendor has become ubiquitous and a classic New York "thing" to eat. I can remember so many times that I would head for a Halal Cart after dinner at a "fancy" restaurant because I was still hungry. And Puerto Rican and Dominican "diners" offer some of the best bang for the buck meals in the city! For another video on your next trip to NY, a food tour of Queens! Greek, Indian, Colombian, Korean, etc. to show off the best ethnic foods at the best prices. Let me know, I live in Florida now but I'll go up and help so you can taste more things! Thanks for your videos! :)
Manzanilla is not sweet.
Mi patria in Des Moines is fabulous. But I recommend the Kalona brewery in Kalona.
I hate making a reservation. Actually I completely ignore any restaurant that requires a reservation
Absolutely love a breakfast like this with fresh bread or rolls, cold meats, pate, cheese and boiled eggs. Delicious, much prefer savoury to sweet in the morning.
Wherever there is Rouladen, I'll be there.
Wow❤ Looks delicious! From Japan 🇯🇵
2:00 Nice looking trees behind you there. What are those called?
willow tree
Why you visiting Lithuania? It's my country you all English are nasty to Lithuanians so why are you visiting us?
Very accurate!!! Really delicious food! Next time, try ‘Ternera a la Llamera’ (wood grilled veal) from the Llamos orientales (east plains) and plantain soups!! Great video!
I only watch this video because I had a grilled bamberger bratwurst in a street market in Berlin and it was the best sausage I've ever had in my whole life. Very juicy and smoky with garlic and whole caraway seeds. Really amazing.
